Airfares will rise, with the UK's APD reaching $275 for premium seats to the US, Singapore's Changi airport fees increasing from $35 to $49, and Maldives doubling departure taxes. Air Canada will start charging for carry-on luggage in economy from January 2025. Airports will cater to over 5 billion passengers with biometric screening and AI systems, and airlines like American Airlines and Air France-KLM will offer innovative reward programs.
