Mama Shelter cresce in Francia, new entry a Tolone

🏡 Mama Shelter's new hotel in Toulon is set to open at the end of 2027. The memorandum of understanding was signed by Ennismore during a ceremony with Toulon's mayor, Jeremie Trigano, Mama Shelter's founder, and Cedric Gobilliard, brand COO. Located in Cours Lafayette, the hotel will occupy the historic Ancien Évêché de Toulon building, offering 100 rooms over five floors, including family accommodations ranging from 21 to 32 square meters and some with private terraces. The venue will feature a restaurant and bar with over 150 seats, a terrace accessible to the public, and two high-tech meeting/event rooms. Mama Shelter Toulon aims to bring new energy to the city and integrate with the local community, embracing Toulon's rich history and coastal charm. After recent openings in Nice and Dubai, future locations include Lake Como, Casablanca, Cape Town, and Amsterdam.

La Gran Bretagna del dopo-Eta: dati e previsioni

🎬 Great Britain focuses on movies and TV series to attract Italian tourists, even with the new Eta implementation causing initial concerns. 80% of Italians are inclined to visit film locations, such as those from Harry Potter or Bridget Jones. Direct flights from Italy were at 98% of 2019 levels in 2024, with Edinburgh, Bristol, Manchester offering less known destinations. Forward Keys data predicts a 16% increase in arrivals from Italy from March to May, and a 22% increase from March to August. January 2025 forecasts indicate 2.2 million visits (1% more than in 2019) and spending of £1.3 billion (16% more than in 2019), with expectations of 2.6 million visitors and £1.7 billion by 2030.

🏨 Luton Airport approved by the UK Government to increase capacity to 32 million passengers annually by 2043, up from the current 19 million. Explora IV, un nuovo step a Fincantieri Palermo

The section will be outfitted before being transferred to the Fincantieri's Sestri Ponente for completion. Anna Nash, president of Explora Journeys, emphasized luxury ocean travel excellence. The fleet will include LNG-powered ships, showcasing sustainable luxury. Over €3.5 billion invested in six Explora Journeys ships, impacting Italy's economy by over €15 billion and creating thousands of jobs. Each ship requires over seven million work hours and employs around 2,500 people for two to three years.

Club Med, cresce il volume d’affari Montagna al top

🏖️ Club Med saw a positive fiscal year in 2024, with business volume reaching €2.09 billion—a 7% increase from 2023. Resort capacity grew by 5%, turning all resorts Premium or Exclusive Collection as of April 2024. Clientele approached 1.5 million, a 1% increase, with room occupancy rates hitting 75%, up 2 percentage points. Mountain resorts' business surged by 20%, representing 35% of total business. Daily rates rose to €232, a 7% hike. In 2025, bookings for the first semester grew by 5.7%. The Italian market saw a 9% rise in individual travel business, with a 2% client increase and a 24% growth in mountain segment bookings. Top resorts for Italians were in Kani, Seychelles, Turkoise, Cefalù, Saint Moritz, and Pragelato Sestriere. Club Med's President, Henri Giscard d’Estaing, highlights the company's shift to luxury and upcoming developments in Malaysia and South Africa.
