Montagna, l’estate italiana è più lunga

🏔 Italian mountains are flourishing, as per the 'Montagne Italia 2025' report. Aiming for year-round tourism, summer now spans May to October. Ski lifts received part of a €90 million fund for upgrades. Bed availability rose to 19.3 per 100 residents, versus a 9% national average. This summer, 12% of Italians, mostly families and youth, prefer mountain vacations. Trentino Alto Adige leads with 25% of visitors, followed by Valle d'Aosta at 11.2%. Average stays are 3.1 days, with spending up 2.3%.

Semestre a due velocità: le adv tirano le somme

📅 Crociere e Mar Rosso trainano il primo semestre 2025 secondo l'Osservatorio Aidit Federturismo Confindustria. Il 40.7% delle agenzie ha dato un voto positivo, mentre il 28.2% è insoddisfatto. Il 48% delle prenotazioni a lungo raggio è stato chiuso con almeno 4 mesi di anticipo. Il budget per mete a corto/medio raggio si colloca tra 2-3mila euro (48.6%) e 3-5mila euro (32.9%). Gli Stati Uniti dominano le richieste sul lungo raggio.

Aeroitalia apre i voli su Comiso da Roma e Milano

✈️ Aeroitalia will resume flights from Comiso Airport on July 25, with routes to Rome and Milan operating three times a week until October. The Pio La Torre Airport also welcomes easyJet, Volotea, and Wizz Air, with Volotea starting flights to Lille this summer. The Longevity Suite apre al San Clemente Palace di Venezia

🏖 The Longevity Suite opened its second spa at the San Clemente Palace in Venice, starting its 2025 expansion plan. CEO Luigi Caterino announced more openings in Italy and abroad. Tregua in Medio Oriente: riaprono gli spazi aerei

✈ Usa, Israele, and Iran declared a truce, allowing airspace reopening in the Middle East after closures due to U.S. attacks on Iran and Iranian strikes on U.S. bases in Qatar. Air France suspended flights to Saudi Arabia and UAE until June 24, and Transavia suspended Paris-Beirut flights until June 30. Lufthansa and affiliates paused Middle East flights until June 30, and those to Amman and Erbil until July 11. United Airlines alerted passengers of possible Dubai flight suspensions from June 18 to July 3.

Vueling e l’estate italiana: tre nuove rotte

✈️ Vueling plans to operate 33 routes from 15 Italian airports to 13 European destinations across Spain, England, France, Croatia, Greece, and Belgium, plus a domestic route from Florence to Catania. Starting June 20th, Salerno connects to Paris-Orly thrice weekly until October 24th. Salerno-Barcelona flights run thrice weekly from July 3rd to October 25th. Rimini-Barcelona operates twice weekly from July 2nd to October 22nd. New destinations from Barcelona include Tivat, Essaouira, and Tirana.
