Amsterdam verso la stretta alle crociere fluviali
🚢 Amsterdam plans to cap river cruise dockings at 1,150 annually, down from 1,950 in 2024, to tackle overtourism. A working group with the European River Cruise Association aims to find a compromise, as river cruise passengers constitute only 2% of visitors but generate $257 million. This is part of broader measures to manage tourist congestion, including closing the oceanic cruise terminal by 2035 and repurposing hotels.
