🖤 Etile Carpenè, a prominent figure in the wine industry and the fourth generation of Italy's oldest sparkling wine house, passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 80 in Conegliano. He was lauded for his dedication to Prosecco and the land, and for spearheading the family business, Carpenè-Malvolti, into global prominence. Etile, who held degrees from the University of Ferrara and specialized in Enology from Bordeaux, also served as President of the Istituto Metodo Classico and held positions in Federvini and the Prosecco Consortium.
