Sales growth was hampered by macroeconomic weakness, bad weather, inflation, and reduced consumer confidence, with a significant dip in the third quarter. The selection of a new CEO is expected to be concluded within the first half of the next year. The gross margin was €1,332.9 million (58.5% of net sales), up by +2.3%. Adjusted EBIT was €499.4 million (21.9% of sales), down -4.1%. Financial expenses totaled €57.7 million, increasing by €7.2 million. Net financial debt reached €2.564 billion as of September 30, 2024, an increase of €710.5 million from December 31, 2023.
