Metà gennaio 2023: annunciata riduzione per concentrarsi sulla preghiera e agire eticamente. Scarsità colpisce Horeca, rendendo cocktail come Last Word, Naked and Famous, Alaska difficili da preparare. Soluzioni: alternative creative, strette collaborazioni con fornitori. Esemplificazione: Sea Breeze, Cosmopolitan, Pisco Sour, e Sazerac precedentemente difficili da reperire in Italia fino al 2020.

Berberè lancia la campagna "La violenza di genere non è sul menù"

👤 From November 25 to December 10, during the UN's 16 days of activism, Berberè Pizzeria supports D.i.Re – Donne in rete contro la violenza, with 117 anti-violence centers across Italy. The campaign "La violenza di genere non è sul menù" aims to spread awareness using 25,000 pizza boxes with QR codes and 5,000 continuously reprinted postcards across 20 Italian locations. D.i.Re provides free support to over 20,000 women annually. Berberè also focuses on employee training in gender culture and has introduced the "Safe at work" policy against workplace discrimination.

Gruppo Branca presenta il Bilancio di Sostenibilità 2023: crescita responsabile e impatti positivi

🛠 Branca International, a family holding company, presents its 2023 Sustainability Report, highlighting a 10% global CO2 emissions reduction and a 13% decrease in Italy, with energy consumption down by 8%. Despite a 20% increase in water consumption, the group aims for further improvements. The workforce grew by 8% to 341 employees, with 99% on full-time, permanent contracts, and professional development included over 10,800 training hours provided in 2023. Fiscally, the consolidated turnover reached €355 million, a 16% decrease due to hyper-inflationary conversion of the Argentine Peso, though real growth in value and volume occurred. The net profit rose by 47%. Branca has strengthened its commitment to sustainable supply chains, with 100% of Argentine suppliers having at least one green certification, and it consolidated its presence in over 160 markets, with product bottling volume nearing 80,000 tonnes. Branca International plans further international expansion in line with ESG principles for its 180th anniversary in 2025.

Heinz presenta tre novità: Ketchup Pickle, Mayo Spicy e Ketchup Zero

🍍 Heinz introduced three new sauces: Ketchup Pickle, Mayo Spicy, and Ketchup Zero 220 ml, during their Press Day in Milan. Ketchup Pickle, popular in the UK, has no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Mayo Spicy offers a spicy Sriracha twist, aligning with the 55% of global consumers drawn to new flavors (Kantar Global Monitor, 2022). Ketchup Zero in a 220 ml format was named Product of the Year 2024. Heinz's national turnover reached €300 million in 2022, employing about 200 people in Italy. Heinz aims for 100% sustainable ketchup tomatoes and fully recyclable packaging by 2025.

In sustainability efforts, they saved 329 million liters of water over six years and reduced process water to 0.05 liters per liter bottled. The company uses 100% renewable electricity since 2011 and increased R-PET usage to 12,950 tons in 2023, which is 79% more than 2022. Sanpellegrino's products are available in over 150 countries, and they commit to responsible water management and the promotion of proper hydration.
