Corona leads globally with a brand value of $10.4 billion, a 40% increase from the previous year. Peroni, the only Italian brand in Brand Finance's 2024 ranking, is valued at $470 million, up 17%, ranking 42nd globally. Italy's brand strength is highlighted, with potential for international expansion, bolstered by the country's culinary reputation.

Strategies include improving energy efficiency, transitioning away from diesel, decarbonizing the electric grid, climate-smart innovations in the supply chain, and enhancing carbon capture. Direct emission reductions (scope 1) are prioritized, with plans for 75% of packaged wines in lightweight glass by 2030 and 50% bottled at the point of consumption, increasing to 55% by 2050, while paper/cardboard packaging aims for 50% by 2050.

Indagine CIRFOOD: la ristorazione scolastica soddisfa le famiglie italiane

📚 In a study by Nomisma for CIRFOOD DISTRICT, 91% of interviewed families use school canteen services. The "Perception of School Catering Services" survey reveals a 72% satisfaction rate, attributed to menu variety (36%), sustainability (27%), and service efficiency (31%). Over 80% of families value the social (94%), inclusive (89%), and nutritional benefits (89%) of school meals. Families also acknowledge the role of school meals in reducing food poverty (85%) and improving family life management (88%). The research, involving 608 families, was conducted via CAWI in May 2024.
