Chub Cay Resort in the Bahamas, focused on energy efficiency, uses Airzone to cut diesel generator use by adapting room temperatures to occupancy. The Clock House in Malaga offers guests personalized temperature control via an app. Cuber Suites in the Netherlands integrates Airzone with advanced Building Management Systems (BMS) for autonomous guest temperature regulation, optimizing energy use and reducing staff needs. These cases highlight Airzone's ability to meet the increasing demands for comfort and sustainability in modern hospitality.

Mutti presenta il nuovo ristorante aziendale Quisimangia, ma aprirà anche al pubblico

🍕 Gruppo Mutti, European leader in the tomato derivatives market, based in Parma, launched its corporate restaurant, Quisimangia, in 2022, designed by international design and architecture firm CRA – Carlo Ratti Associati. The initiative aims to reflect the company's core values of quality and sustainability, providing exclusive well-being for its employees. The restaurant, catered by VCook, a company from the Cerea family of Da Vittorio restaurant, incorporates sustainability through the use of recycled tomato waste in floor resins and energy-saving environmental control technologies. Additionally, a garden over one hectare, designed by landscape architect Paolo Pejrone, will feature regional flora. Initially open only to Mutti employees in Montechiarugolo, there are plans to welcome the community, enhancing Parma's status in the Food Valley. The project aligns with CRA's and Italo Rota Studio's 2016 masterplan for Mutti, following The Greenary, Francesco Mutti's residence since 2021.

Quality Group, started in October 1999, has grown from 35 people, 5 brands, and 21 destinations to 270 employees, 9 brands, and over 200 global destinations. Mistral Tour was founded in 1975 during Italy's years of protest and China's opening to the outside world. Both companies have adapted to changing demands for authentic, sustainable experiences. Marco Peci, Quality Group's Commercial Director, emphasizes product quality and sustainable growth, while Michele Serra, President of Quality Group, focuses on human capital in an increasingly virtual and interconnected world. A new image for their catalogs will be unveiled in January 2025.

Alpex Sailing Team trionfa alla DolomythiCup 2024

🏅 Alpex Sailing Team won the 13th DolomythiCup for the second time, held in Val di Sogno, Lago di Garda, from October 10-13, 2024. They competed against approximately 40 participants across 10 boats, remaining undefeated through 10 races over 3 days. Matthias Pirrone, Francesco Giudiceandrea, Simon Folie, and Hagen Niederkofler masterfully secured the trophy for Fonte Plose, the team's sponsor. The victory was celebrated with Alpex's non-alcoholic drinks at the Beach Hotel Rosa on October 12.

From October to December 31, 5% of Benessere line sales will be donated to the foundation. The research focuses on the MAML1 protein in triple-negative breast cancer, affecting 15-20% of diagnoses, aiming to improve chemotherapeutic effectiveness.

🍕 Roncadin, with 800 employees, produces over 100 million frozen pizzas annually. The CEO, Dario Roncadin, attended the "Imprese Vincenti" event by Intesa Sanpaolo in Milan on October 16. The company, based in Meduno (PN), received a €14 million loan in 2023 to open a new factory in Chicago, USA. The 5th edition of Imprese Vincenti selected 150 companies focusing on ESG themes. Roncadin SpA SB, founded in 1992, has a €175 million annual turnover and is a Società Benefit since 2021.

FIPE e Too Good To Go uniscono le forze contro lo spreco alimentare

Global wafer sales reached $6.3 billion, with a 4% annual increase and a projected CAGR of 5.4% until 2029 by Mordor Intelligence. In Italy, the modern retail sector sells 93 million wafer packages for €130 million annually. Despite a slight volume decline in 2023 due to raw material price hikes, the Italian market remains strong. Leading Italian brands like Loacker, set to celebrate its centenary in 2025, expect €350 million in revenues from the Loacker brand, out of €465 million in 2024. Wafers are key ingredients in products like Yomo and Muller yogurts, KitKat cereals, and Nescafè Dolce Gusto, with companies like Lindt and Ferrero investing in wafer-based products.
