Wizz Air, cinque nuove rotte estive da Venezia
📍 Starting in March 2025, Wizz Air will launch five new routes from Venice to Madrid, Barcelona, Athens, Sharm el Sheikh, and Budapest, thanks to an additional Airbus A321neo joining the Venice fleet, making two such aircrafts for the summer season. This expansion, highlighted by Managing Director Mauro Peneda, will provide over 500,000 additional seats annually, increasing capacity by nearly 80% and raising Wizz Air's market share at Venice to 10%. Daily flights to Madrid and Barcelona and thrice-weekly flights to Sharm, Athens, and Budapest are planned, alongside an increase in Chisinau flights from three to four times weekly. Since its first flight from Milan to Katowice in 2004, Wizz Air has transported more than 90 million passengers to and from Italy.
