🏁 Italian Exhibition Group organizes SIGEP World at Fiera di Rimini from January 16-20, 2026, hosting 1,300 exhibitors and 500 buyers from 75 countries. International presence grew by 28%, with 45 countries participating. New markets include Canada, Saudi Arabia, and more, featuring India as Guest Country with 50 top buyers. The event highlights innovations in foodservice, with a focus on gelato, pastries, and sustainable chocolate, while integrating technologies in the Kitchen Equipment Hub and Digital District.

🍻 Winter Edition 2025 of Autoctoni Gourmet was held for the first time in Gradara, Marche. Six selected participants prepared a dish by Michelin-starred chef Gianluca Gorini, pairing it with local artisanal gins. The event, broadcast on Centro Marche TV and LINFA's Facebook page, aimed to promote Marche's gastronomic excellence. Norma Judith Pagiotti and Martino Torressi of team "Trasversale 109" won. The event included a masterclass by Julian Biondi and was judged by a panel including chef Gorini.

🌍 Koinè Tourism Forum (KTF), powered by TTG, debuts at Vicenza Convention Centre from March 5-7, 2026, aligned with the Marian Jubilee of Monte Berico. The event includes BTRI, hosting over 40 international and Italian buyers specialized in spiritual and cultural travel. Approximately 70% of Italy's art heritage is in religious sites. Activities include workshops, seminars, and a tour showcasing Vicenza. March 6 features one-to-one meetings for business transactions.

🍹 Mattia Schiaretti will curate drinks for the STAR charity event in April 2026, at Circolo di Lettura e Conversazione in Parma. The event features 5 Michelin Guide chefs and 5 Michelin-starred chefs from Emilia-Romagna, serving 200 guests. Proceeds benefit the Noi per Loro Association, supporting young oncology patients. STAR, a project by Simon's Food and event organizer Michela Paini, merges fine dining and charity. Schiaretti also owns Choice Cocktail Bar, opened in 2020.

🍷 On December 19, at Gucci Giardino in Florence, Lorenzo Antinori from Bar Leone in Hong Kong, named the best bar globally at The World's 50 Best Bars, will feature in a guest night hosted by Sabatini Gin. The event starts at 19:00 and showcases an exclusive drink list highlighting Cortona's London Dry Gin. This occasion celebrates Italian hospitality, offering a unique mixology experience before the festivities, with Martina Bonci as host.

🍳 Italian Institute of Culinary Arts & Hospitality (CAST) hosts "Test Your Talent" on December 13 in Brescia, Via Serenissima 5. This immersive open day serves as an admission test for 2026 courses, offering three scholarships worth €10,000. Part of Plena Education, CAST supports practical experiences, with over 90% of students employed within a year. Applications are open online. Programs include an English-taught Bachelor in Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management, validated by Teesside University, UK.

🍴 Sergio Legrenzi and Stefano Pierotto's KIS Management expanded in 2025, partnering with City Style Hotel La Favorita in Mantova and Hotel Bleis in Ponte di Legno – Tonale. At City Style Hotel La Favorita, Mantova, KIS revamped the F&B offerings, managing 85 rooms and 4 meeting rooms. Hotel Bleis offers 22 rooms with local cuisine. Established in 2017, KIS specializes in F&B for hospitality and aims to enhance guest services while maintaining quality and reputation.

🎄 Gardaland Magic Winter 2025 enchants visitors until January 6, 2026, transforming Gardaland Resort into a winter wonderland. Piazza Jumanji features "Slitte in Festa" for kids, with colorful mini-sleds. Youths aged 6+ can enjoy "Turbo Ice," a 280 m² drifting track. The 16-meter Crystal Globe invites fun selfies and festive music. Live shows and the Santa encounter remain highlights. At 6 PM, the "Sparkling" show lights up the Park, featuring the Prezzemolo Tree.

🍽 Roma, 11-13 dicembre: la 12ª edizione del Cinecibo Festival avrà luogo al TH Roma Carpegna Palace. Ideato da Donato Ciociola, l'evento include proiezioni, show cooking e i prestigiosi Cinecibo Awards consegnati dai Manetti Bros. Giovedì, una giuria valuterà cortometraggi e proposte culinarie degli studenti. Venerdì, show cooking con Elena Scisci e Angelica Amodei. Sabato, gala con premiati come Rocco Papaleo e Giulia Bevilacqua. Cena finale con prodotti selezionati.

🚄 European Sleeper, a Belgian-Dutch rail company, will launch a new night train to Milan in June 2026, operating thrice weekly from Brussels and Amsterdam. Stops include Cologne, Bern, Briga, and Stresa. Currently, European Sleeper connects Brussels to Prague, having transported 240,000 passengers on 750 trains. Paris-Berlin service begins March 26, 2026. Ticket sales for the Milan route start early 2026. The Barcelona route is planned for 2027-2028.
