🥧 Castellana Grotte (BA) hosted the 31st Festa del Cornetto e del Maritozzo on September 7-8, featuring Chantilly Pasticceria's 30 varieties of sweets, including classics and new vegan and lactose-free options. 🍴 "Chef in Quota" returns on Tuesday, September 24, at Baita Motti in Domobianca (1300m altitude). 🍴 Terra Madre Salone del Gusto, a global gastronomy event, hosts its 15th edition in Parco Doria, Torino, from September 26 to 30, 2024. 🏖️ Barbara Mazzali, Regional Councillor for Tourism, Marketing Territorial and Fashion of Lombardy, announced that Bellano, Lecco will host the “Festival Nazionale de ‘I Borghi più belli d’Italia’” in 2025. The announcement came after the XVI edition in Calabria. Italy has 362 certified beautiful villages, with Lombardy home to 26, ranking second in the country for small municipalities, which number 1,038 in the region.

☕ On September 19, the international finale of the inaugural Meinl Barista Cup by Julius Meinl, a renowned Viennese premium coffee brand, will take place in Vienna. The competition celebrates the skill of baristas serving over 5 million cups of Julius Meinl coffee globally. Nearly 90% of their coffee is processed in Vicenza, and exported to over 70 countries. Baristas from 12 countries will compete in Espresso, Cappuccino, and Signature Drink categories. The event includes a top-quality Belvedere Blend coffee, and winners will get a trip to Honduras. The event features 25 selected bars offering an exclusive cocktail list with three types of drinks: Signature Cocktail, Cocktail RiEsco a Bere Italiano, and Cocktail Campania Felix. It includes masterclasses, aperitifs, pop-up bars, guest shifts with national and international guests, and spans nine locations: Vietri sul Mare, Cetara, Maiori, Minori, Ravello, Amalfi, Furore, Praiano, and Positano.
