🍺 Gardaland celebrated the opening weekend of Oktoberfest, running until September 29. The event features a Welcome Show, over 40 attractions, traditional Teutonic dishes, and beer selections including Birra Messina Vivace, Ichnusa Ambra Limpida, Schmucker Export, plus a special Gardaland beer. A 'Beer Experience' and 'Beer&Food Experience' in Piazza Jumanji are part of the festivities, along with themed entertainment such as the Oktoberfest Folk Trio and "Alle Zusammen... prosit" street show.

✈ From May 21, 2025, Sas will launch 5 weekly flights between Copenhagen and Seattle, reconnecting the cities after 57 years. The new route expands Sas's non-stop services to 11 North American gateways from Copenhagen, enhancing connectivity to 39 European cities including Berlin, Helsinki, Milan, and Zurich.

🍰 Ludovica Faiotto, 26, won the 7th edition of "San Gennà... Un Dolce per San Gennaro" contest organized by Mulino Caputo. Prize included €1000, 1000 kg of flour, and personal satisfaction. Her creation, "O Patron," featured classic shortcrust pastry with almond crunch, vanilla cream, mandarin gel-filled choux, and orange blossom yogurt bavarois, wowing judges with its balance and elegance. The finale was held at the Renaissance Naples Hotel Mediterraneo's roof garden. Jurors included pastry chef Pietro Macellaro and two-star chef Gennaro Esposito.

🍷 On September 18, the Strada del Riso Piemontese and the Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori del Gran Monferrato will come together at Castello di Casale Monferrato. The event features three Michelin-starred chefs: Davide Palluda, Christian Costardi, and Francesco Marchese. Showcasing their risotto dishes paired with local wines, the showcooking is limited to guests who pre-register with a fee of 45 Euro. The experience is enhanced by sommeliers from Ais di Casale Monferrato and Acquaverderiso.

🥂 Simone Sabaini and Giusto Occhipinti collaborated to create Azienda Agricola Naturale, offering the first organic Vermouth and Bitter made from natural Sicilian wine, distributed by Spirits&Colori. Vermouth Naturale Rosso and Orange as well as Bitter Naturale, with alcohol contents of 18% and 21% respectively, are crafted with indigenous yeasts and organic botanicals, embracing sustainability and Sicilian terroir. Spirits & Colori has been specializing in the distribution of quality spirits since 2016 from its base in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

🌊 The 64th Salone Nautico di Genova features Italy's nautical, industry, and coastal tourism. The 10th National Conference on Coastal and Maritime Tourism, organized by Federturismo Confindustria, Assomarinas, and Confindustria Nautica, is set for September 23 at 10:30 AM at Sala Forum. The conference titled "Blue Economy e Turismo: Nuove Frontiere per la Crescita Economica e Ambientale" will be concluded by Tourism Minister Sen. Daniela Garnero Santanchè, moderated by Roberto Neglia.

🍨 From September 13-15, San Benedetto del Tronto hosted ‘Let’s Marche-Gelato Edition’ organized by Associazione Italiana Gelatieri (Aig) with Regione Marche. The festival featured artisanal Italian gelato, experience-based tourism, and local product sustainability. World-renowned gelato master Cristian Monaco participated. Pierpaolo Mazzaferro won the ‘Riviera delle Palme’ contest, qualifying for the III Coppa Italia di Gelateria 2024. A portion of proceeds went to Asmo, supporting cancer patients.

🎃 Leolandia celebrates "HalLEOween" with a new themed area "Draghi e Leggende", featuring itinerant animations, shows, parades, and over 40 rides for kids. On October 31, until 21:30, the park offers special events and fireworks over Minitalia. The program includes "L’Oracolo della Magia" and "Leo e il Segreto di Halloween" shows, plus 2023 hits like the "baby dance of Leo" and "Le Streghe della Luna" musical. Autumn street food and local dishes are available at park kiosks and restaurants.

🏖️ CNA Turismo e Commercio predicts over 8.5 million foreign tourists in Italy this September, expected to spend over €6 billion. The 2024 forecast anticipates 32 million foreign visits, surpassing the under 30 million in 2023, with an average stay of 3.7 nights per tourist. Top expenditures include accommodation, with a preference for hotels, followed by enogastronomy, shopping, experiences, and transport. Germans, Brits, and Northern Europeans lead the European visitors, while a surge in American tourists is noted, with those from the Far East not far behind.
