🍙 The special anniversary event "Calici & Spicchi" celebrates ten years of A'mmasciata on Monday, October 14, 2024. 📦 Granoro, an Italian pasta producer from Puglia, will showcase its premium and organic lines at the SIAL Paris from October 19-23. Their "Granoro Dedicato" line is made with 100% Puglian wheat and emphasizes sustainability, traceability through blockchain, and DNV's My Story™. Packaging for "Dedicato" and Organic lines is in FSC-certified recycled paper, reducing plastic by 35% and CO2 emissions. Michele Dell’Aquila reports an 18% export growth in the first eight months of 2024.

🏥 Hotel expo from October 21-24 at Fiera Bolzano emphasizes hospitality solutions, environmental sustainability, and avant-garde design/architecture. 🍸 The AmeriCarlo cocktail, a twist on the classic Americano, features a blend of Bitter Gamondi and Amaro Gamondi, enriched with a splash of tonic water. Created in 1890 by herbalist Carlo Gamondi in Acqui Terme, Alessandria, Amaro Gamondi is made from a cold maceration of 29 herbs and roots for about 40 days. Bitter Gamondi, marked by its intense bitterness, is essential for iconic cocktails like Americano and Negroni and is composed of various herbs and aromatic plants.

🏖 Lombardia, Veneto, and Provincia autonoma di Trento launch 'Regione Garda' for joint tourism promotion in a triennial plan for 2024-2027, aiming to boost the competitiveness of Lago di Garda as a travel destination. According to Lombardia's Tourism Assessor, Barbara Mazzali, provisional data from January-July 2024 shows 1.5 million arrivals, 63% foreign, 36.35% Italian, and over 6 million overnight stays, a 12.06% increase from the same period in 2023.

🚙 Trenitalia and SkyTeam alliance signed a memorandum of understanding to offer combined train + air itineraries in a single booking. The partnership allows tourists arriving in Italy with a SkyTeam company to reach destinations served by Trenitalia's high-speed trains. Frequent flyer members of SkyTeam can earn and spend miles on selected Frecciarossa trains, just as CartaFreccia members can with selected SkyTeam flights. The agreement enhances travel options in Italy and integrates Trenitalia into the European rail transport market.
