✈ easyJet will launch 26 new routes in the upcoming summer season, including a first-ever flight from London to Cape Verde starting March 31. The airline will offer this service three times a week. From 10 British airports, 21 routes are introduced, featuring destinations like Rimini, Izmir, Kalamata, Larnaca, Madrid, Rome, and Olbia from various UK cities. easyJet Holidays now provides thousands of additional vacation packages, covering over 70 beach and city holiday destinations.

✈️ Aeroitalia to launch Rome Fiumicino-Lamezia Terme route on December 12, catering to Christmas demand with multiple daily flights. Roberto Occhiuto, President of Calabria, announces the permanent service beyond holidays, with 4 flights on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday, 3 on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 2 on Saturday.

🍾 UIV-Unione Italiana Vini and Ipack Ima signed a strategic agreement during SIMEI 2024 to co-organize Bevertech, a vertical fair for the Liquid Food & Beverage sector. SIMEI, a global event for winemaking and bottling machinery, joins Ipack Ima's focus on packaging technologies. Global beverage and liquid food production is expected to exceed €1.6 trillion by the end of 2024, with a +4.7% growth rate. The U.S. leads with €218.9 billion, followed by Germany (€53.3 billion), France (€46.2 billion), and Italy (€40.9 billion). Packaging machinery for the sector is worth €14.9 billion, growing at +2.9% annually, while processing machinery is projected to reach €23 billion, with a +5.5% growth rate by the end of 2024 (source: Ucima/Mecs).

🍷 "Malvasia in porto – Malvazije v pristanu," organized by AIS Veneto with GAL Carso LAS Kras and ORA Krasa in Brkinov, is set for Friday, November 22, at Novotel Venezia Mestre Castellana in Mestre (Venice). The event will feature around 30 producers from Italy and Slovenia, including Domačija Bole and Zidarich. Activities include a masterclass led by Cristian Maitan, the Best Sommelier of Italy AIS 2023. The event is part of the BORDERLESS OKUS project funded by the EU and is free for AIS members and industry professionals.

🥃 Woodford Reserve, a super premium bourbon with over 200 detectable aromatic notes, partnered with internationally renowned maître pâtissier Gianluca Fusto for a "Taste Experience" event on Tuesday, November 12, in Fusto Milano's kitchen. Participants, guided by Advocacy Manager Francesco Spenuso and Gianluca Fusto, created an Old Fashioned cocktail and various biscuits, highlighting the bourbon's unique flavors alongside Fusto's culinary masterpieces. Woodford Reserve is part of the Brown-Forman Corporation, which also includes Jack Daniel’s and Tequila Herradura.
