The Michelin-starred event emphasizes local product excellence and environmental responsibility, showcasing dishes like "Cervo e Cappelletti" and "Il Cavolo," embodying the chefs' culinary philosophy. Elementi Fine Dining earned its Michelin star in 2023.

🍷 From December 7-9, 2024, Rome will host the sixth edition of Beviamoci Sud at Hotel Palatino, featuring over 50 selected winemakers showcasing Southern Italy's finest wines. Masterclasses and seminars, including a special session celebrating 20 years of Rocca del Principe winery, are scheduled. The event targets wine enthusiasts and professionals with December 9 reserved for journalists and Horeca sector professionals. Ticket prices are €25, with a reduced fee of €20 for members of partnering associations.

🍴 At NuAN, located in Rome's Appio Latino district on Via Siria 3, chefs Elvio Ferrelli and Luana Lesce offer a daily-changing menu focused on Lazian seafood tradition. The ingredients, 90% from Lazio, are sourced from local ports like Civitavecchia and Anzio. Open Thursday to Monday, the restaurant provides a simple 3-course lunch for €35 and 6-course (€55) or 8-course (€70) tasting menus for dinner. The wine list features around 50 Italian labels, and the 100 sqm venue seats 20 guests.

🍕 Napoli to host the fourth "Pizza DOC Awards 2024" on Monday, December 9, celebrating distinguished figures in the pizza world, including pizzaioli, entrepreneurs, journalists, food creators, and industry professionals. The ceremony, with around 30 awardees, will be held at Teatro Salone Margherita. The event highlights cultural approach, technical innovation, entrepreneurial courage, and communicative creativity in the sector. The 10th World Pizza DOC Championship held from November 12-14 raised €3,000 for charity "La stanza di Tobia". The awards ceremony starts at 18:30 with a live stream.

🍵 Ditta Artigianale, a leading Italian specialty coffee roaster, offers a festive menu at its six Florence locations, featuring Panettone Latte, a signature coffee with homemade syrup and dehydrated orange, and Rosso Arabica, an alcoholic cocktail with Ethiopian coffee infusion. 🍳 SANA Food, curated by BolognaFiere, will inaugurate on February 23, 2025, and run alongside the 4th Slow Wine Fair. It addresses the demand for healthy and sustainable products in the food&bev sector, valued over €92 billion in 2023 (FIPE Confcommercio). The event targets Horeca and specialized retail professionals, offering educational sessions and showcasing organic, biodynamic, Dop, Igp, Stg, as well as vegetarian, vegan, plant-based, and functional foods. The consumer survey Osservatorio 100 Giorni Sani, involving 4,000 consumers, will inform offerings tailored to current trends. Rivoluzione Bio, the General State of the organic sector, forms part of the European project BEING ORGANIC IN EU. SANA Food aims to expand its international presence, with over 40 countries participating, facilitated by partnerships and strategic collaborations.

🍪 Pernigotti, controlled by J.P.Morgan since 2022, revives its Gift Boxes for Christmas in Italy with Gianduiotti Classici (127g, 16 pieces), Gianduiotti Assortiti (127g, 16 pieces), and Grande Assortimento (320g, various pralines). New products include caramel-flavored Gianduiotto and classic Gemma praline. Traditional Torroni available in 135g and 235g, and chocolate-covered 250g. Rustego torrone returns in a 235g package, with Cherubini in 117g bags, and diverse Pepitas and XL bars. Panettone Pepitas (750g) and spreadable creams (190g and 330g) also line shelves.

🎬 Casoni Fabbricazione Liquori celebrates its 210th anniversary in 2024 with the exclusive docufilm "CASONI: IL SAPERE DEL TEMPO, IL SAPORE DEL FUTURO". The film premiered on November 30, 2024, at Nuovo Cinema Corso in Finale Emilia, led by CEO Paolo Molinari and directed by Diego Gavioli. It explores the company's journey since 1814, emphasizing its Italian heritage and commitment to traditional recipes while adapting to modern trends.

🍞 The "Artista del Panino 2024" semifinals were held in Genova on November 26, with 30 participants from across Italy competing to be among the 8 finalists. These finalists will battle in February 2024 for the title. The competition, in its ninth edition, judges sandwiches not only on taste but also on originality and presentation, without the need for cutlery. Promoted by Vandemoortele Professional and in collaboration with Bargiornale, the contest celebrates Italian culinary traditions and innovation. Vandemoortele, founded in Belgium in 1899, excels in frozen bakery products and operates in the EU and the USA, with Italy as its second-largest market.

🍕 On November 28, at the East End Studios in Milan, the first-ever Al.ta Cucina Awards dedicated to food on social media took place. The event began on October 7 with 10,000 participants submitting entries and concluded with over 126,000 votes cast across nine categories, each sponsored by major food brands. The gala featured a red carpet, celebrated Italian food creators, and was presented by Lodovica Comello and Paolo Camilli. Giorgia’s Bakery, Meschini Chef, and Una Stella in cucina were among the winners in various categories. Simone Mascagni, co-founder of Al.ta Cucina, hinted at a larger second edition next year.
