This route follows recent Zagreb launch, with plans for Paris, Barcelona, and Frankfurt. Traffic growth for Rome-Seoul is +24% in the first 7 months of 2024 compared to the previous year.

🏖 Caribe Bay, a water park, unveils its new relax area, Silver Cape, for the summer with a €2 million investment in expansions and restyling, adding 5,000 sqm of additional guest space. CEO Luciano Pareschi indicates a positive summer expected, despite a not-so-favorable June weather, with strong arrivals from Germany, Central Europe, Slovenia, and Hungary. 🛏 In Tokyo, the Nine Hours capsule hotel near JR Shinagawa station offers a unique Japanese experience coupled with a sleep analysis service, 9h Sleep Fitscan, starting from August 9. The analysis uses infrared cameras, microphones, and body, brainwave, and core temperature motion sensors, providing a detailed sleep quality report for consenting guests. 🚰 Swadeshi Hotels enters the student housing market with a dedicated brand and a 30 million euro investment. By the end of 2024, three ‘eco-friendly’ addresses in Campania, Lombardia, and Veneto will begin development, with contracted acquisitions. Opening for students in March 2026, the capacity will be around 900 beds. ✈ Wizz Air will launch new flights from Italy to Egypt in October, with two routes from Rome Fiumicino to Marsa Alam and from Catania to Sharm el Sheikh. Flights from Rome will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday starting October 29, the same date for flights from Catania, which will depart every Tuesday and Saturday. Additionally, Wizz Air announced three new international routes from Salerno-Costa d’Amalfi Airport and one from Naples Capodichino. Flights from Salerno to Budapest, Tirana, and Bucharest begin October 28 and from Naples to Sharm el Sheikh on October 29.

🌍 Holland America Line announces special eclipse cruises across Europe. Beth Bodensteiner, chief commercial officer, highlights the success of 2024 eclipse cruises leading to the new series. Guests can engage with experts and enjoy themed activities. Three ships—Oosterdam, Nieuw Statendam, and Zuiderdam—will position for the total solar eclipse on August 12, 2026, along the coasts of eastern Spain and western Iceland, and during the Voyage of the Vikings.
