🍺 Birra Peroni celebrated its centennial in Bari, where its production started in 1924. A historical exhibit curated by Daniela Brignone is open to the public from December 11 to January 11 in Bari, Via Argiro. Enrico Galasso, President and CEO of Birra Peroni, and Pietro Petruzzelli, Bari's city councilor, highlighted the bond between the company and the city. The company contributes to the local economy and culture, including festive decorations. Birra Peroni, part of Asahi Group, produces over 7 million hectoliters of beer annually, with more than 2 million for export, and employs over 800 people. The company is committed to sustainability goals with the "Legacy 2030" initiative. Peroni, a 4.7% ABV lager, is a leader in the Italian beer market and has a 19% top-of-mind consumer recall in 2023.
