🏡 Hotel Tivoli Palazzo Gaddi Firenze, a luxury 16th-century palace, opened after a two-year renovation. Located in Florence's historic center, it offers 86 rooms, including 8 suites, blending original antique furnishings with modern comforts. The presidential suite features a panoramic terrace with stunning views of the Duomo. Internationally renowned interior designers Patrizia Quartero and Guy Oliver oversaw the restoration. The Terrae restaurant, led by Michelin-starred Italian chef Iside de Cesare and Salvatore Canargiu, offers authentic Tuscan and Italian cuisine. The Secret Garden and Aria rooftop bar provide unique dining experiences, while the Milton Bar pays homage to poet John Milton, inspired there to write 'Paradise Lost' in 1638. Guests can enjoy candlelit dinners, cooking classes with Chef Iside, or a Tuscan menu in the hotel's private cellar.

🏛 Relais & Châteaux welcomes two new members: Villa Cortine Palace in Sirmione, Lake Garda, and Stadshotell in Stockholm. Villa Cortine Palace, with its 19th-century resort architecture, is nestled in a park of palms and cypresses. The property boasts 52 elegant rooms and suites set across the historical wing and a newer section, and is enveloped by a tranquil 5-hectare park. Laurent Gardinier, the association's president, emphasizes their 70-year mission of exemplifying excellence and preserving cultural, culinary, and natural heritage.

🏖 Barcelò inaugurated its first hotel in Cabo Verde, Hotel Praia Cape Verde on Isla de Santiago, featuring 80 ocean-view rooms, an infinity pool, and meeting spaces. The chain announced upcoming projects including the 4-star, 300-room Hotel Occidental Boa Vista Beach and the 5-star, 160-room Barcelò Marine Boa Vista, both in Boa Vista. By end of 2024, these will create over 1,600 jobs, with 400 direct jobs, 95% of which will be local. A 5-star adults-only hotel with 260 rooms is also planned for Isla de Sal.

🏠 Casa Brera, a new luxury lifestyle hotel by Marriott International, opens in Milan's Piazzetta Bossi, featuring 116 rooms designed by Patricia Urquiola. Steps from Piazza della Scala, it boasts four gastronomic destinations: Casa Brera Living, Scena, Etereo, and Odachi, with food & beverage consultation by chef Andrea Berton. Housed in a late 1950s building by architect Pietro Lingeri, the hotel embodies Milanese design, art, and culture.

🏖️ Arrow Global, with Gruppo Mangia’s involvement, undertakes the redevelopment and repositioning of a resort in Sicily's Baroque Triangle, the former Club Med Kamarina in Ragusa, which spans over 96 hectares along the sea. The resort’s revamp includes an upgrade to 5-star status, approximately 600 rooms, themed restaurants, a beach club, water paths, enhanced sports facilities, and sustainability-focused architectural landscaping. Donato Piscuoglio, Head of Real Estate Arrow Global Italy, envisions it as a Mediterranean hospitality benchmark, benefiting local communities while preserving natural and cultural heritage.

🏠 In Milan, Rocco Forte Hotels introduces 11 luxury apartments at 46 Via Manzoni, combining contemporary luxury with timeless Italian style. Charles Forte highlights the privacy and premium experience in response to market demand, following the success in Rome. The residences feature concierge, valet parking, a dedicated chef, exclusive gym, and are designed by Lady Olga Polizzi with architects Paolo Moschino and Philip Vergeylen. Available with one to three bedrooms, the residences reflect iconic Milanese neighborhoods—Brera, Duomo, Isola, and Tortona—within a 19th-century building offering classic and contemporary elements.

⛰ The Six Senses Telluride, set to open in 2028 in Colorado's San Juan Mountains, will feature 77 rooms and 24 branded residences with LEED Silver certification. Vault Design used natural materials for construction, and Rose Ink Workshop designed the interiors. The resort will include a gym, cinema, game room, food & beverage options like Omakase Dining, a rooftop venue with a pool, commercial spaces, and a conference area. It marks IHG Hotel & Resorts' first luxury property in North America's Mountain West.

🏡 Ruby Hotels opens its 19th property, Ruby Bea Hotel & Bar, in Florence's Ponte Rosso area, marking its debut in Italy. The hotel, inspired by the Italian Renaissance, spans 5,292 square meters with 118 rooms, including unique maisonette-style layouts of 43 square meters. Ruby Bea offers five different room categories and features a philosophy of "Lean Luxury." Ruby Dante Workspaces, the brand's eighth co-working space and third combined with a Ruby Hotel, provides 36 workspaces over 247 square meters, with options ranging from hot desks to private offices and a meeting room for up to ten people.

🏖️ Azemar launched the Bawe Island resort near Zanzibar's capital, Stone Town, accessible by a 15-minute speedboat ride. The resort opened during the summer and features 70 luxury villas ranging from 200 to 500 square meters, each with a private pool, large garden, sea view, and outdoor Maldivian-inspired bathrooms with Villeroy & Boch fixtures and Dyson hairdryers. Amenities include 4 à la carte restaurants, a large miniclub, the Rebirth spa, diving and watersports centers, tennis and padel courts, gym, and yoga spaces.
