🏠 Tivoli Hotels & Resorts expands in Portugal with the Tivoli Kopke Porto Gaia Hotel opening next year, located south of the Douro River with panoramic views of Porto. The hotel will feature 150 rooms including 10 suites, two restaurants, three bars, two pools, a Tivoli Shape fitness center, six meeting rooms, 9,000 m² of gardens for events, and a Tivoli Spa with personalized treatments. It will also offer a gourmet restaurant and an all-day dining venue.

🎁 Rocco Forte Hotels announced their third "Made in Sicily" project, Palazzo Castelluccio in Noto, set to open in 2026. The meticulously restored 18th-century building boasts 31 rooms, a restaurant, bar, event/meeting spaces, spa, gym, and garden. Originally built in 1782, post a devastating 1693 earthquake, the neoclassical Palazzo once had 105 rooms. The hotel design mixes historical charm with modern luxury, featuring trompe-l'oeil walls, fine fabrics, and antique furnishings. Rocco Forte Hotels plans four new openings in the next three years, including Milan, Sardinia, Sicily, and Naples.

🏨 Moxy Hotels, launched in Milan in 2014, celebrates its 10th anniversary with a pipeline to reach 100 branded hotels in Europe, including Pompeii and Verona. Currently, Moxy, a Marriott brand, leads Europe's upper-midscale lifestyle segment with 89 hotels in 18 destinations, making up 60% of its global portfolio. Jerome Briet of Marriott International highlights Europe's demand for stylish yet affordable hospitality. By end of 2025, Moxy plans to add 17 European properties, entering Spain (Barcelona), Turkey (Istanbul), and Luxembourg, while expanding in Italy, France, Portugal, Ireland, Belgium, Poland, Serbia, and Germany.

🏚 Tour 2000AmericaLatina offers guaranteed departures for Christmas and New Year holidays, including intercontinental and domestic flights, hotels, transfers, and Italian-speaking guides. General Manager Marino Pagni states the annual success with travel agencies. Argentina tours start on December 23, covering Buenos Aires, Peninsula Valdés, Ushuaia, and El Calafate. Brazil tours include Rio de Janeiro, Iguacù Falls, and Salvador de Bahia. Caribbean holidays feature Cuba with beach stays at Cayo Ensenachos. Costa Rica exploration leaves on December 26, visiting Tortuguero Park, Arenal Volcano, Manuel Antonio Park, and Playa Tamarindo. For New Year, a Chile and Easter Island tour is offered. Colombian Essences, Colors of Peru, and Exploring Mexico depart on December 28, while Peru Express and Cuban Spirit with a stay in Varadero take off on December 30.

🏖️ Tui, a German giant in the tourism sector, has expanded its Tui Blue portfolio with 4 new hotels located in Sardinia, Tunisia, and Turkey. The Italian addition is in Budoni, while Tunisia sees two new openings in Hammamet, and Turkey's latest is in Seferihisar. Alongside the expansion, Tui is restructuring with a 'global market' model focusing on personalized offers.

🏖 Raaya Resort, a new luxury destination at the Maldives, will be highlighted by Atmosphere at the TTG Travel Experience in Rimini, Italy, from October 9-11. 🏨 Hyatt Hotels announces the opening of its first Andaz-branded property in Australia, Andaz Gold Coast, in collaboration with Destination Gold Coast Consortium, featuring 202 rooms and suites, a fitness center, and three dining outlets. Scheduled to launch mid-next year, Hyatt continues its over 40-year presence in Australia.

🍕 Raffaele Bonetta, born in 1986, an emerging figure in the world of pizza, started working at his family's pizzeria Ciarly in Naples at a young age. After studying food science and sports at Istituto Alberghiero and culinary arts at Alma, he opened his own pizzeria on the Pozzuoli waterfront, Naples, five months ago. Bonetta was awarded 48th place at the 50 Top Pizza World 2024 and won Solania’s “Newcomer of the Year 2024” in July. He also recently received Gambero Rosso’s Three Slices award for 2025. His pizzeria serves diverse pizzas and cooking styles, and Bonetta emphasizes the importance of a personal approach and continuous research and training in the culinary arts.

🏕 Hotel Vioz – Family Hotel & Apartments, located in Peio Fonti at 1,400 meters altitude, has undergone a contemporary restyling led by Perathoner Architects of Selva Valgardena. Owned by the Fava family since 1925, this family-run hotel prioritizes family and children's services, offering a private playground, themed activities, and clubs for different age groups as part of My Family Hotel group in Trentino. The 2024 upgrade introduced a 700 sqm wellness area with indoor and outdoor heated pools, a panoramic family sauna, a tea-room, and a cold outdoor bath, complementing the adult-only spa Aphrodite. The hotel features 35 rooms and 10 new Family Apart-Suites, offering half-board hotel and residence formulas with stunning mountain views.

🍕 DaZero opened a new restaurant in Piazza Oberdan, Milan, marking an expansion with a refreshed brand identity and culinary offerings. The brand, since its 2014 inception in Vallo della Lucania, now operates eight locations including three in Milan, two in Turin, and one each in Florence and Bologna. DaZero has joined the Food Finance group led by Marco Zoppi in 2023, aiming to open two more outlets by 2025. The Piazza Oberdan venue features a 155 sqm space with 45 indoor and 40 outdoor seats.
