✈ Air Transat increases Rome Fiumicino-Toronto flights with an added Sunday frequency from June 29, 2025, departing at 12:35 PM and landing at 4:20 PM, operational until October 19. During peak season, up to 20 direct flights weekly from Italy. Rome-Toronto 5 times a week in May, daily from June 9; Rome-Montreal starts with 2 weekly flights in April, 5 in May, and daily from June 15. Venice-Toronto and Venice-Montreal frequencies also rise. One weekly flight on the Lamezia-Toronto route.

Accor, a Cortina il debutto italiano di Emblems

🏨 Cortina d’Ampezzo will host Italy’s first Emblems Collection hotel, expected to open by late 2026, under the Accor, Invel Real Estate, and Prodea Investments partnership. The Hotel Bellevue Cortina D’Ampezzo, Emblems Collections, dates back to the late 19th century and will combine alpine charm with contemporary aesthetics post-restyling by Italian architecture firm pconp and interior design by Tihany Design. The luxury hotel will feature 80 rooms, including 27 suites with mountain views, a 500 sqm Spa, and both indoor and outdoor pools. The food & beverage options aim to be a local benchmark, with dishes blended from local and international influences. The project also emphasizes sustainability, incorporating high-efficiency energy solutions in line with Luxury & Lifestyle Sustainability Standards.

JLL nomina Andrea Mancini responsabile dell’area Hotels & Hospitality Capital Markets in Italia

🏦 Andrea Mancini appointed as Lead Director, Italy Hotels Transactions, Emea Hotels & Hospitality Capital Markets at JLL. Mancini previously served as Director at CBRE and worked at Colliers International, focusing on residential investments and hotel and leisure sector. William Duffey of JLL highlighted Italy's dynamic capital markets with transactions amounting to $2.12 billion last year, involving high-profile deals like Club Med Kamarina and Grand Imperiale Forte dei Marmi. Tourist flows in Italy have reached 98% of pre-pandemic levels, with 129 million visitors. Mancini will operate from Milan, coordinating with the London team led by Jurrian Dompeling to expand JLL's market presence in Italy.

The bottle is produced in Italy using renewable electric energy, highlighting Maniva's commitment to environmental sustainability. Vintage Maniva will gradually replace the current 1-liter glass bottles in Maniva's catalog, positioning the brand in the premium segment.

Intelligenza Artificiale: il 78,6% delle aziende Gdo&Retail ancora in fase esplorativa

The study by NetConsulting cube, Engineering, Fastweb, ServiceNow, and TIM involved 82 large businesses, primarily in industrial (34%), Energy & Utilities (14%), and Telco & Media (10%). The "AI Maturity Model" benchmarks firms' AI adoption, assessing Strategy, Data Technologies, Use Cases, Skills, Compliance, and Governance. Sector analysis shows Energy & Utilities leading in generative AI use, while GDO & Retail and Industry lag behind. The "AI Maturity Index" ranks Banking highest (57.1/100), with GDO & Retail lowest (19.2/100). Only 25.8% have integrated AI strategy as a priority, with 49% defining a roadmap. Organizational models vary, with 49% having dedicated AI teams led by CIO/CTO, 24% using "Hub & Spoke," and 14% in functional anarchy.
