Meloni: “A gennaio i voli diretti di Ita tra Italia e Libia”

✈ Direct flights between Italy and Libya are set to resume in January 2025 by Ita Airways, as announced by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni during the Italia-Libia Business Forum in Tripoli. The reactivation follows an agreement signed last year between Enac's President Pierluigi Di Palma and Libya's Mohamed Shlebikf, leading to a Memorandum of Understanding between Enac and the Libyan Civil Aviation Authority.

Rosewood preme sull’acceleratore: 5 nuove aperture nel 2025

🏡 Rosewood's 2025 pipeline includes global expansion with a focus on Italy, planning Rome and Milan openings in 2026. Rosewood Doha will feature a luxury hotel with 155 rooms and suites, 162 serviced apartments, and 276 residences. Rosewood Miyakojima in Japan will have 55 all-villa structures with private pools. Rosewood Mandarina, opening in early 2025 in Mexico's Riviera Nayarit, will offer 134 suites with private terraces and pools. In Amsterdam, the former Palace of Justice will transform into a 134-room hotel, and in London, The Chancery Rosewood in Mayfair will have 144 rooms and suites.

Ethiopian Airlines con Euroairlines per crescere in Sud America

✈ Ethiopian Airlines partners with Euroairlines to manage both domestic and international routes, expanding access to a network in over 60 countries. Ethiopian, with 78 years of experience, serves 136 international destinations, including 63 African cities. Euroairlines CEO, Antonio Lopez-Lázaro, sees the partnership as a growth strategy in Africa. The alliance also aims to boost Ethiopian Airlines’ connectivity to Central and South America via Madrid, noted by Euroairlines' director Guillermo López-Lázaro.

Wizz Air, 44 nuove rotte per l’inverno

Ryanair, al via i collegamenti invernali da Venezia e Treviso

✈️ Ryanair launched its winter schedule from Treviso and Venice airports on October 27 with the Venice-Trapani route operating twice a week. 🌍 Millennials prefer Los Angeles and San Francisco for relaxing vacations in California. As of the first 8 months of 2024, Italian visitors to California numbered 173,300 with projections of 207,000 by year-end, a +101% increase from 2019. Estimates for 2025 are 225,000 and 253,000 by 2028. In 2023, Italy was 17.9% of global arrivals to California, ranking ninth globally and third in Europe. California promotes sustainability with electric vehicle road trips and focuses on luxury segment and food experiences. 41% of Italian tourists stay 4-7 nights, and 32% for 8-14 days. Direct flights in June 2024 had a seat capacity of 26,500, rising to 27,400 in July and August. The expected total expenditure by Italians in 2024 is $490 million (+102% from 2019), with forecasts of $551 million in 2025 and $652 million in 2028.
