📈 Michelin-starred restaurants in Italy have grown from generating €280 million in 2016 to €438 million in 2023, attracting 2.4 million customers, 40.7% being international from 43 countries. Lombardy benefits the most, followed by Campania and Piedmont. Provincially, Naples leads, then Rome and Milan. A single 1-star Michelin restaurant generates about €805,000, a 2-star €2.4 million, and a 3-star exceeds €6.5 million per territory. 💸 In August, Demoskopika reported a monthly increase in tourism inflation of 1.0% and an annual increase of 4.6%, up from 4.1% the previous month.
