Vfs Global: Indonesia più vicina grazie all’e-VoA

📃 Vfs Global, exclusive provider of Indonesia's new e-Visa on arrival (e-VoA) service, targets travelers from 97 eligible countries including Italy. Starting mid-December 2024, the online platform streamlines the visa application process with pre-approval via email. Indonesia's General Director of Immigration Silmy Karim aims to enhance foreign entries, supporting the country's goal of 14 million visitors in 2024, building on the 9.92 million arrivals from January to August 2024. Vfs Global partnered with Emirates to facilitate e-VoA applications for airline passengers.

Tap Air Portugal ripristina il volo su Manaus

✈ Tap Air Portugal has resumed flights to Manaus in Brazil's Amazonas state, with three weekly frequencies using an A321neo, seating 158 passengers including 16 in business class. This route includes a stopover in Belem. Tap Air Portugal, as stated by its president Luís Rodrigues, reinforces its commitment to Brazil and tourism, offering new opportunities for European travelers and Brazilians for direct access to Europe. The airline leads with nearly 100 weekly flights from 13 Brazilian cities to Europe.

Miami, il Mice si conferma motore del turismo

🏖 Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) reported a satisfying year from October 2023 to September 2024, with visitors contributing over $20.6 billion to the local economy, marking a nearly 3% increase. The GMCVB sales and convention services team exceeded goals by achieving 103% of their booking target, generating over 406,000 room nights, reaching 111% of their goal. In August 2024, Miami International Airport recorded 10.6 million international visitor arrivals, a 9.6% increase from 2023, and PortMiami is expected to exceed 7.3 million cruise passengers. David Whitaker, president and CEO of GMCVB, noted the capture of 16 major new conventions and fairs, a 13% increase in travel from their top 10 international markets, and the addition of 250 new members, totaling 1,111 bureau partners. Julissa Kepner emphasized GMCVB's strategic vision focused on sustainability, technology, and key infrastructure investments.
