Affitti brevi, scatta la protesta nelle città d’arte
🏠 In Italy, over 600,000 homes are involved in the increasingly contested short-term rental market, often symbolized by keyboxes. Florence has banned keyboxes in historic centers, while protests have emerged in Rome and Milan. Marco Celani, president of Aigab, notes there are 9.6 million unused homes out of 35 million in Italy. Registered rental structures total 559,450, while Aigab counts 640,000, offering around 2.5 million beds. The short-term rental market provides an average annual income of €17,000 for 600,000 families in 2023.
