🏡 Located in Venice's tranquil Sant'Elena district, Hotel Indigo Venice Sant’Elena is a boutique hotel managed by HNH Hospitality and part of IHG Intercontinental Hotels Group. It resides in a 1930s former convent, redesigned by THDP and architect Manuela Mannino, inspired by the Venice-Byzantine culture connection. The hotel features blown glass chandeliers, 75 rooms and suites including a duplex suite with terrace, and the Savor Restaurant Bar & Garden. Hotel manager Carmela Pino has been leading since July.

The Ministry of Tourism is encouraged to collaborate with the Ministry of Education to create update pathways for tourism teachers. Meanwhile, the Venice-based luxury hotel Bauer has been purchased by Mohari Hospitality in partnership with Omnam group for $300 million, with an additional $150 million planned for renovations.

Departure from Torino Porta Nuova at 15:05, arriving in Messina at 09:45, with a return trip on January 5, 2025, leaving Messina at 18:50, arriving in Torino at 12:50 the next day. The train features sleeping cars, couchettes, and restaurant cars serving Sicilian cuisine.

POLO LOGISTICA FS: 4 NUOVI MEZZI GREEN PER IL TERMINAL MERCI DI POMEZIA

📍 In Pomezia, on November 27, 2024, Gruppo FS's Polo Logistica deployed four new green vehicles, including two electric locotractors for train maneuvers and two cranes for handling containers and trailers. A total investment of €3.4 million was partly funded by PNRR and PNC funds. The locotractors, capable of pulling up to 4,100 tonnes and traveling on road and rail, are co-financed at 30% by the National Complementary Plan. The reach stacker cranes, made by CVS Ferrari, can lift 45 tonnes and are the most modern in Italy, with advanced systems to optimize fuel consumption and reduce emissions, 48.5% funded by PNRR funds. Sabrina De Filippis and Livio Ravera highlight these additions as milestones for industrial development and enhanced efficiency in intermodal freight transport.
