Londra, Istanbul e Dublino: le città con più camere d’albergo in apertura in Europa

🏨 London, Istanbul, and Dublin lead European cities in new hotel room openings in 2025, with London adding more than 5,600 rooms, Istanbul 3,920, and Dublin just under 3,200. Overall, Europe will see nearly 107,000 new rooms this year, including those opened early in 2025. CoStar reports a total of about 171,000 rooms under construction, 86,000 in final planning, and 163,000 in initial planning stages.

Gruppo Cortina, Rosanna Conti al timone: è la nuova Cluster Manager

🏡 Rosanna Conti, with 15 years as General Manager at Grand Hotel Savoia Cortina, is now Cluster General Manager for Gruppo Cortina. She will oversee the portfolio including Radisson Residences Savoia Palace Cortina d’Ampezzo, Lajadira Hotel&Spa, and the upcoming Hotel Ampezzo, set to open in late autumn 2025 in Cortina's historic center. Enzo Ciannelli, with over 20 years in hospitality, succeeded Conti at Grand Hotel Savoia Cortina starting February 1, 2025. The group aims to redefine luxury for the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics.

Karavel Fram acquisisce Alpitour France

Minor Hotels, utile netto a più 65% nel 2024

🏨 Minor Hotels Europe & Americas closed 2024 with revenues of €2.4 billion, a 12% increase from €2.2 billion in 2023. Net profit soared to €212 million, up 65% from the previous year. The average daily rate (Adr) rose by 5.6%, from €138 to €145 per night, and average occupancy reached 69.2%, up 1.2 percentage points from 2023. Spain's occupancy hit 74%, with a 10% increase in Adr. Italy, Benelux, and Central Europe also saw Adr and occupancy boosts, while Latin America's occupancy remained stable.
