Troncone, Adr: “A Fiumicino 50 milioni di passeggeri, ora focus sull’espansione”
🛫 Roma Fiumicino closed 2024 with 49.2 million passengers, exceeding projections by four years according to Marco Troncone, CEO of Aeroporti di Roma. In 2025, a 9-10% growth is expected, totaling 53.7 million passengers, partially attributed to the Ita-Lufthansa agreement. Between 2025 and 2027, infrastructure reactivations are planned, fueled by a 5-6 billion euro investment, aiming to expand the airport's capacity to approximately 60 million passengers over seven to eight years.
