Fs si allea con Ita: Italia-Spagna con treno+aereo

🏢 iryo, part of the Trenitalia Group, has partnered with Ita Airways to offer combined train+air travel between Spain and Italy. This seamless mobility solution allows passengers to travel to Spanish cities like Cordoba, Valencia, Alicante, Seville, and Malaga, not directly served by Ita flights, and to over 20 Italian airports, including Rome, Milan, Venice, Florence, and Naples. The FS Group aims to increase international passenger volume by 40% by 2025-2029 through FS International, which boasts 12,000 employees and €3 billion in revenue.

Msc inaugura il suo primo terminal in Spagna

📍 MSC inaugurated its first terminal in Spain, with MSC Fantasia being the first ship to dock at Barcelona's Terminal H, Muelle Adosado. Designed by Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura, the facility represents a €50 million investment. It will serve MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys luxury ships, featuring advanced water recycling systems and facilities for LNG refueling and electrical connections. MSC has a 31-year concession for the terminal from Barcelona's municipality.

Ryanair, da maggio nuove regole per il check-in

✈️ Ryanair, aiming to reduce airport management costs, will require passengers to use digital boarding passes from May, disallowing physical check-in desk printing, previously available for a 23-euro fee. Hand luggage exceeding 40x20x25 cm will incur up to a 70-euro fine. Missing a flight results in a 120-euro penalty, avoidable by arriving at least 40 minutes before departure. Priority Boarding remains available for an additional carry-on or paid luggage check-in.

Airlines including Lufthansa and easyJet cancelled various national and international flights.

Sara Digiesi, BWH: ‘Investiamo nel futuro’

US arrivals constitute 30% of total guests, highlighting the resurgent Chinese and Middle Eastern markets, alongside the emerging Indian market. BWH Hotels expanded with 12 new entries plus 6 upcoming, adding a total of 769 rooms in 2024. SIHO - Hotel Operations, a management company, began managing its first property four months post-launch. BWH is also investing in the future of hospitality through a strategic partnership with Hospitality Innovation Academy (HIA).

Hyatt: lusso e bt trainano i risultati del 2024

🏨 Hyatt saw a 7.8% room growth in 2024, with Q4 revPar up by 5 percentage points year-over-year and annual growth of 4.6 points. High-end brands and business segment led the surge, with leisure room revenue up 4% in the last quarter and business accommodations by 10 percentage points. The group reported a $1.3 billion profit for the year. Expectations for the first quarter of 2025 are high despite a forecasted $40 million negative impact on adjusted EBITDA from 2024 property sales. CEO Mark Hoplamazian highlighted strong corporate travel demand. The World of Hyatt loyalty program reached 54 million members by end of 2024, a 22% year-over-year increase.
