Colaiacovo, dall’hotellerie al Sole 24 Ore

📈 Maria Carmela Colaiacovo, former President of Confindustria and a prominent figure in the Italian entrepreneurial and hospitality industries, was appointed as the new President of Il Sole 24 Ore by the Shareholders' Meeting today. A founding member of Confindustria Alberghi, she served as its President until her term ended in December. Colaiacovo is currently Vice President of Financo Srl and sits on the board of Colacem SpA. She has also successfully managed and relaunched the Park Hotel ai Cappuccini in Gubbio as CEO of Tourist SpA. Santanchè: “Il Primo Maggio 10 milioni di turisti”

🏖 Italy is set to welcome at least 10 million vacationers from April 30 to May 4, with business generated surpassing 4 billion euros. Minister of Tourism Daniela Santanchè notes the positive tourism conditions. Of these vacationers, at least 6 million will stay overnight, including 2.5 million international tourists, mainly from the USA, Central Europe, the UK, and Asia, averaging three nights, with foreigners staying four. Additionally, 600,000 visits are expected in 26,000 agritourisms, highlighting Italy's authentic culinary tradition.

Allianz Partners: 3,2 miliardi di euro dal settore travel

Dal Mitur 6 milioni per la montagna abruzzese

🏖 The Italian Ministry of Tourism allocated €5,913,416 to the Abruzzo region as part of 'Montagna Italia' project for the enhancement of mountain territories. Esperienze tra natura e benessere', and 'IN Abruzzo – Comunità Accoglienti d'Abruzzo', targeting tourism development, community hospitality, and economic sustainability.
