Made in Italy agroalimentare: export da record tra nuove sfide internazionali

📈 Italian agri-food exports hit a record €67 billion in 2024, up 8% from the previous year, outpacing Spain (+6%), Germany and China (+4%), the U.S. (+2%), and France (+0,4%). Leading products included olive oil (+44%), mineral water (+30%), and spices (+23%). Top growth markets were Poland (+19%), the U.S. (+18%), and Australia (+16%). The EU absorbed 55% of exports, with significant increases in non-EU Europe (+109%) and North America (+153%). The U.S. alone accounts for 14% of Italian agri-food exports, with products like mineral water (41%) and olive oil (32%) being highly dependent on the American market. The Consorzio Italia del Gusto represents 38 brands, with a combined turnover of €25 billion and 55,000 employees.

🍪 In Italy, "mindful eating" is gaining popularity, with a study by ANCIT and AstraRicerche on 1,025 Italians aged 18-65 highlighting the link between diet and mental well-being. Key findings include the importance of physical activity (90.5%), sleep (90.3%), and varied diet (90%). Eating in company (86.8%) and outdoors (82.6%) are also valued for mood enhancement. The study revealed that canned tuna, rich in mood-boosting tryptophan (280 mg/100g), is undervalued, with only 8.4% aware of its benefits. Despite this, 59.9% of Italians consume canned tuna weekly, valuing its taste and convenience. In recent years, 34.8% of Italians have increased their canned tuna intake.

Attività turistiche online: come prenotano gli italiani secondo YouGov

Day trips are the most popular activity, chosen by 53%, followed by transport-based excursions at 30%. TripAdvisor leads as the most known and used booking platform, with GetYourGuide and Civitatis following. Price and detailed experience descriptions are key factors in platform selection. The survey was conducted by YouGov in December 2024 with a representative sample stratified by age, gender, and geographic distribution.
