New business Ratchathewi Hyde Away takes easy road to success with Little Hotelier

Ratchathewi Hyde Away is a small, luxurious, 4-star hotel with just 4 rooms, nestled in a serene and elegant Bangkok setting. With unique features such as meticulously crafted coffee and authentic Thai craft beer, guests are met with an unparalleled experience.

Mr. Akkaphong Akkaranithi, the owner, revealed that Ratchathewi Hyde Away only opened in 2024 but has already gained significant popularity and praise from customers. His dedication to managing every step of the service and treating guests like family has been a key factor. For him, customers mean everything.

Room management simplified

In the early days of opening, the business suffered very few teething issues since it began life backed by Little Hotelier’s all-in-one solution – perfect for small properties.

“During the launch, I had no concerns about managing and selling rooms because Little Hotelier was reliable, quick to set up, and ready to use immediately”, said Mr. Akkaphong.

“Little Hotelier has also boosted our direct bookings by advertising through metasearch (Demand Plus). The solution helps us increase the chances of more people visiting the website.”

Today, 50% of Ratchathewi Hyde Away’s total bookings come via direct bookings.

Such is the power of Little Hotelier, Mr Akkaphong chooses to utilise almost every function of it, with a particular fondness for the ability to perform daily rate adjustments and produce real-time booking reports.

“This helps us analyse and adjust prices to sell at the best rates for maximum profit,” he explained. “Since opening and using Little Hotelier, we’ve seen approximately 70-85% of bookings coming through this system.”

Additionally, the property can also be monitored and managed on a daily basis via Little Hotelier’s mobile app.

“Sometimes we meet a customer who makes a reservation from a call or walk-in directly to the hotel. We can immediately put customer information into Little Hotelier’s calendar, ensuring that rooms will not be overbooked,” said Mr. Akkaphong.
