💱 Bulgaria, from January 1, 2026, joins the eurozone as the 21st member. The euro conversion rate is set at 1.95583 lev per euro. Both lev and euro will be legal from January 1 to 31, 2026, but only euros will be accepted for electronic payments and ATM withdrawals. From February 1, 2026, the euro becomes the sole currency. Free lev-to-euro exchanges at the Bulgarian National Bank are indefinite, and at banks and post offices until June 30, 2026.

🗺 In Catalogna, a proposed reform of the tourist tax will allocate a significant portion of revenue to housing and economic development. 💵 Italia, dicembre 2025: Cambiamenti fiscali sugli affitti brevi con la legge di Bilancio. La soglia per considerare il reddito d’impresa scatta ora dal terzo immobile affittato per meno di 30 giorni, invece del quinto precedente. La cedolare secca rimane al 21% per un immobile, e sale al 26% per il secondo. Le modifiche non influiscono sulla cedolare secca stessa.

✈️ Codacons accusa le compagnie aeree di allungare i tempi nominali di volo per evitare risarcimenti per ritardi. L'esposto è stato presentato all'Antitrust e all'Enac. I voli intercontinentali sono prolungati di 50 minuti, mentre quelli più brevi di 20 minuti. Questa pratica avrebbe fatto risparmiare alle compagnie aeree circa 180 milioni di euro in Italia.

🛬 L'Antitrust ha multato Ryanair per abuso di posizione dominante con una sanzione di 255.761.692 euro, relativa al periodo tra aprile 2023 e aprile 2025. La strategia di ostacolo, iniziata a fine 2022, includeva riconoscimento facciale, blocchi di prenotazione, e restrittivi accordi di partnership. Solo ad aprile 2025 è stata fornita l'integrazione API, ripristinando la concorrenza nel mercato turistico.
