Italy boasts a 23% sales share ($15.9 billion) in the Entry level and Popular category (up to $15 retail, under $5 from the winery) and a 30% share ($11.2 billion) in the Premium category (products priced between $15-$25 retail). The Italian Premium segment is expected to face zero price growth by 2028, with the Luxury segments predicted to grow by 2% annually in volume and value.

AI is expected to create 400,000 new jobs by 2035, and last year, tourism to small Lombard villages rose by 22%, compared to a 10% increase for larger cities. AI applications in dynamic pricing, language translation, and booking automation are being studied, stressing the need for employee training to keep up with competition.
