🏦 Castello SGR invests €130 million in the ex-Grand Hotel Via Veneto in Rome, set to become Italy's first Nobu Hotel. The operation is led by the Lithium fund, sponsored by Oaktree Capital Management L.P. The Nobu Hotel Roma, initially announced for summer 2022, is now scheduled to open in spring 2025, featuring 122 rooms and suites. The project marks Nobu's entry into Rome with its 42nd hotel worldwide, complementing its 77 international restaurants. Advisors include Rothschild & Co, with Nobu Hospitality Group and Grand Hotel Via Veneto leadership heralding a new luxury lifestyle hotel milestone in Italy.

🏨 Francesco Ascalone has managed Posia Retreat & SPA | UNA Esperienze for about two years, a boutique hotel owned by a local family of building entrepreneurs. The hotel, targeting an upscale clientele aged 40 and above, opened at the end of April and plans to extend its season beyond the current October closing, moving next year's opening to March, already fully booked by Canadian groups. Main markets include France, the U.S., the U.K., Belgium, Spain, emerging Eastern European countries, and South America. Despite a decrease in German visitors, performance remains high with a 45% EBITDA and a 35% revenue increase anticipated this year. The hotel, with a limited number of rooms, relies on local clientele and events for profitability, with MICE events having tripled this year and expected to increase further.
