Air Europa, Scaffidi: “Consolideremo il network in Italia”

📍 Air Europa plans to expand its fleet by one or two Dreamliners by the end of the year, despite long delivery times. The airline currently operates 52 aircraft and anticipates completing a merger with the IAG Group. The demand for long-haul flights is strong, with a 7% seat increase in 2024, accounting for 80% of the sales and providing a capacity of 1,200 seats per day from Italy. The airline enjoys a load factor of over 90% on Italian flights. New destinations are planned, including Santiago de Chile, but challenges in promoting locations like Paraguay institutionally remain. The introduction of new aircraft will focus on enhancing fleet rotation.

easyJet amplia il network, nuove rotte dall’inverno

📍 easyJet expands its British network with four new routes, totaling 41 new options for the winter season from the UK to Europe and North Africa. Flights to Luxor, Egypt commence on November 11 from London Gatwick, flying twice a week. From February 14, twice-weekly flights to Sharm el Sheikh will be available from Liverpool.
