A Russian counterfeiter in Italy, with operations in Desio, was arrested after an investigation involving six arrests and sixteen searches in September across Torino, Cuneo, Rome, and Bologna. The criminal organization created fake labels, QR codes, and security tags, selling bottles for up to €15,000, totaling €2 million in business. French Gendarmerie, Italian Carabinieri, Swiss Federal Police, Europol, and Eurojust were involved in the operation that seized counterfeit bottles, 5,000 labels, €100,000 in cash, and other items.
