Distillerie Bonollo Umberto porta in Italia i Whisky Templeton

🍹 Distillerie Bonollo Umberto Spa, over 100-year-old company from Padova, Italy, famous for its Grappa OF Amarone Barrique, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Infinium Spirits for Templeton Whiskey in Italy. Elvio Bonollo represents the fourth generation leading the company. Templeton Distillery, with a 100-year history in Iowa, has a production capacity of over 3 million bottles a year, a 20-acre site featuring a distillery and museum, and two aging warehouses totaling approximately 5,000 square meters. Templeton Rye products, distributed by Infinium Spirits, headquartered in San Diego since 2005, will add five unique whiskeys to the Italian market: Templeton Rye Whiskey aged 10, 6, and 4 years, Templeton Midnight Whiskey, and Templeton Fortitude Bourbon.

In 2023, 56% of Italian pasta production, totaling 2.2 million tons, was exported to nearly 200 countries. World Pasta Day, organized by Unione Italiana Food and International Pasta Organisation, is celebrated on October 25. Research shows over 40 million tourists visit Italy annually, with pasta being a significant attraction. The top 3 pasta dishes among tourists are Spaghetti alla Carbonara (7.8), Lasagne alla Bolognese (7), and Pasta al pomodoro (6.9). Italy leads global pasta production with over 3.9 million tons in 2023, generating €8.1 billion, a 5.4% increase from 2022, and exports over 2.2 million tons worth €3.8 billion. Deliveroo saw an 18% increase in pasta dish orders and a 10% increase in packaged pasta orders in Q3 of 2024.
