🍴 Chef Denny Lodi Rizzini of Makorè, offers a menu blending tradition and experimentation in Ferrara. New appetizers feature Luccioperca from the river Po and Gambero rosa with unexpected twists. The first courses introduce a personal take on Ramen with Adriatic squid and a vegetarian Pasticcio Estense. Second courses bring a marine twist to Wellington Fish and a reinterpretation of Jack Potato. Pastry chef Valerio De Santis presents a new dessert menu with nostalgic elements. The wine selection is curated by sommelier Isacco Giuliani, recipient of the Best Sommelier award from Identità Golose's 2024 Restaurant Guide. The Foletto Pharmaceutical Laboratory Museum in Ledro, renovated in October 2024, spans over 800 sqm. The company practices environmental sustainability, with a photovoltaic system covering 70% of their electrical needs and CO2 neutral production thanks to a 1 Megawatt biomass plant. ????

Barilla, World Pasta Day: come la pasta favorisce la convivialità

A study by Unione Italiana Food on GenZ's relationship with pasta (conducted in May 2024 with 1,009 participants aged 18-30) shows 83.8% find pasta pleasurable and 79.2% say it boosts mood. Penne is the preferred pasta shape (23.3%), and carbonara the favorite sauce (50.3%). The University of Minnesota's study (March 2024) found regular shared meals reduce stress and improve emotional well-being. Barilla's "Sentirci Vicini" contest, running from September 3 to November 30, encourages shared meal experiences. The travel agents’ association negotiated a reinstatement of a 1% base commission, which can increase to 4% for agencies selling over 350 coupons annually.
