Campari crolla in borsa dopo l'annuncio di un pessimo trimestre

📈 Campari Group's net sales reached €2.277 million, a +3.4% total change, and +2.1% organically. The stock plummeted to a new low since April 2020, by -18.5% to €6.33. Sales growth was hampered by macroeconomic weakness, bad weather, inflation, and reduced consumer confidence, with a significant dip in the third quarter. The selection of a new CEO is expected to be concluded within the first half of the next year. The gross margin was €1,332.9 million (58.5% of net sales), up by +2.3%. Adjusted EBIT was €499.4 million (21.9% of sales), down -4.1%. Financial expenses totaled €57.7 million, increasing by €7.2 million. Net financial debt reached €2.564 billion as of September 30, 2024, an increase of €710.5 million from December 31, 2023.

🍷 At the Park Hyatt Milano, the 2017 vintage of the prestigious Barolo Docg Riserva Cannubi "1752" by Damilano was unveiled. This Barolo, with roots starting from the 2008 harvest, is a product of over fifty-year-old vines from the Cannubi area, known as Tumela. The "1752" label commemorates the oldest bottle from the Langhe region, dating back to that year. The wine boasts a complex and refined profile, featuring cherry and plum aromas that evolve into notes of tobacco, rose, and violet. The winery waited seven years, surpassing the five required, to open the first bottle, emphasizing their commitment to quality.

Grana Padano partecipa a Golosaria 2024

📦 Consorzio Grana Padano renews partnership with Golosaria, participating in the 19th edition from November 2-4, 2024, at Fiera Milano Rho. The event features master classes pairing cheese with Italian excellences and an exhibit on its origins from 1135. The consortium includes 143 companies, with 122 processors, 137 dairies, 142 agers, and 197 packagers. In 2023, 5,456,500 cheese wheels (+4.69%) were produced, totaling 211,830.742 tons (+4.84%), from 2.858 million tons of milk from 3,726 farms, engaging 50,000 people. January-August 2024 saw 3,905,731 wheels (+2.66% vs 2023). Exports in 2023 totaled 2,481,891 wheels (+6.55% vs 2022), 94,846.4362 tons, and 48.2% of marked production. Gross saleable cheese production in 2023 was €3.7 billion, with €1.75 billion in Italy and €1.95 billion abroad, confirming Grana Padano as the world's most consumed DOP cheese.

Other countries like Norway, Iceland, Denmark, and Australia have repealed similar taxes.

🏭 Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) unveils two new pavilions, adding 8,300 sqm to Rimini's fair district, ready for use starting Ecomondo, from November 5 to 8.
