Horeca Expoforum 2025: torna a Torino l’evento di riferimento per i professionisti dell'Horeca

🍽 Horeca Expoforum, a salon for HoReCa professionals, will take place in Turin from March 16-18, 2025. Over 200 companies, including sector leaders and startups, will gather across 13,000 square meters of Lingotto Fiere's Pavilion 3. FIPE reports 332,000 Italian catering businesses with a 7% share in Piedmont. The 2024 event attracted 150 exhibitors, around 250 brands, 140 show cookings, and 10,000 professionals. The AFH market value increased by 12% in 2023, reaching €92 billion, 32.6% of Italy's total food consumption.

Eating Out: le nuove tendenze del fuori casa

🍴 "Eating Out. A Global Survey on Attitudes and Behaviors" by CSA Research, sponsored by Fiera Milano and HostMilano, involves 8,000 respondents from Italy, Middle East, Spain, France, Germany, UK, and USA. Italians prioritize menu (27.7%) and ingredient taste (27.3%), while service is key in UAE (18.8%) and Saudi Arabia (22%). Local, seasonal products are preferred by 73.6% Italians, 73.2% Emiratis, and 69.3% Saudis. Innovative cooking techniques are important to 57.6% in UAE, 61.7% in Saudi Arabia, but only 24.5% in Italy. Sustainability matters more to Gulf respondents (66% UAE, 61.3% Saudi Arabia) than Italians (37.4%). Italians favor personal relationships over certifications for dining quality and choose family-run restaurants (86.5%) over chains (13.5%). Host 2025 will showcase the future of hospitality innovations.

Indiani, general manager of Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan, reappointed as national delegate of the Italian Chapter of Ehma, uniting over 470 members from 24 European countries, 400 hotels, 86,000 rooms, and 66,000 employees. Indiani, on his sixth term, will lead for the next three years, confirmed during the autumn meeting at Borgo Egnazia. Deputy Damiano De Crescenzo, general manager of Planetaria Hotels, also reconfirmed. Indiani has received multiple awards, including the 2002 Hermes Award for best hotel manager worldwide and the 2009 Excellent Award for international hotel management. Knighted by the President of the Republic, he's led the Hotel Principe di Savoia since July 2005. The Italian Chapter of Ehma has the most members with 117.
