🥃 Woodford Reserve, a super premium bourbon with over 200 detectable aromatic notes, partnered with internationally renowned maître pâtissier Gianluca Fusto for a "Taste Experience" event on Tuesday, November 12, in Fusto Milano's kitchen. Participants, guided by Advocacy Manager Francesco Spenuso and Gianluca Fusto, created an Old Fashioned cocktail and various biscuits, highlighting the bourbon's unique flavors alongside Fusto's culinary masterpieces. Woodford Reserve is part of the Brown-Forman Corporation, which also includes Jack Daniel’s and Tequila Herradura.

📊 MARR SpA reported Q3 2024 revenues of €622.7 million, a slight decrease from €623.2 million in Q3 2023. Despite a modest volume increase, lower euro/kg values, especially in seafood during summer, affected sales. The consolidated EBITDA for Q3 2024 was €42.5 million (€46.3 million in 2023), and the consolidated net profit was €18.5 million (€21.9 million in 2023). The total consolidated revenue for the first nine months of 2024 reached €1.610,5 million, down from €1.626,5 million in 2023. The net financial debt as of September 30, 2024, stood at €201.7 million, with a net equity of €341.1 million. Sales in the Street Market segment amounted to €1.063,7 million, while the National Account segment generated €376.5 million in the first nine months. Investments of €14.6 million were made, and dividends of €39.0 million were distributed in May 2024.

La carta dei Vini del Ristorante Enrico Bartolini si trasforma in un'opera d'arte in divenire

🎨 Teo KayKay, an artist known for turning Champagne bottles into collectible art, created a unique site-specific artwork for the three-Michelin-starred Enrico Bartolini restaurant at Mudec. The graffiti depicts Enrico Bartolini with his famous dish, Risotto with red beets and gorgonzola sauce, against the backdrop of Milan. The project includes embedding 15 wine menu covers into the wall, which will be updated with reprints throughout 2025 to complete a "puzzle" within the artwork. The wine list, curated by Sebastien Ferrara (Restaurant Manager) and Edoardo Jobet (Sommelier), features 800 labels and 170 illustrations hand-drawn by Teo KayKay, showcasing the identity and soul of each wine region. This collaboration also involves Monica Biella (General Manager of Bartolini Group), creating an extraordinary wine list that elevates the dining experience at Mudec.

☕ Founded in Modica in 1967 by Giovanni Spadola, Caffè Moak achieves €25 million in turnover in 2023, marking a 36.82% increase from the previous year. During the 1990s, the second generation, Alessandro (CEO) and Annalisa (Marketing and Communication Director), expanded both Italian and international markets. The company acquired Mokafè and Caffè Circi in 2022 and established Caffè Moak Trading LLC in Dubai. It exports to over 50 countries, produces 60 tons of coffee daily and maintains a stringent internal quality control lab for over 20 years.

Brooklyn lancia due nuovi pack in edizione limitata

🎲 Brooklyn chewing gum, an iconic Italian brand since the 1950s, unveils limited edition restyling of Brooklyn Spearmint and Brooklyn Chlorophyll packs with a modernized logo. The brand, which began post-WWII by Ambrogio and Egidio Perfetti, symbolizes the dynamic spirit of Brooklyn, NY. British artist Ornamental Conifer, a.k.a. Nicolai Sclater, designed the new creative look, drawing inspiration from urban environments. In November, a special mural by Conifer will be displayed in Corso Garibaldi, Milan. Brooklyn, part of the Perfetti Van Melle group, the world's second-largest confectionery market player, reported nearly €3.5 billion in net revenue in 2023.

Pasticceri e Pasticcerie 2025: nella guida la geografia del dolce in Italia

🍰 The 14th edition of the "Pasticceri & Pasticcerie 2025 di Gambero Rosso" guide was unveiled at Palazzo di Varignana in Bologna. A total of 660 shops are listed, with 61 new entries and 33 awarded the maximum of Three Cakes. Lombardy leads in quality with 9 top-rated patisseries. Notable winners include emerging pastry chefs Arianna Valente and Raffaele Gant from Libera in Asti, and Delia from Lecce as Novelty of the Year. Iginio Massari with Pasticceria Veneto in Brescia received the Three Gold Cakes. The guide also features 25 pastry chefs from the restaurant sector, up from 16 in the previous edition.
