The event will feature excellence in confectionery, wine, and gastronomy with free entry and showcases over 80 exhibitors. Highlights include show cookings by chefs Diego Bongiovanni on December 6, Simone Rugiati on December 7, and Barbara Agosti on December 8. There are also workshops for children, a Christmas market, and a partnership with the Ciampini – Boccardo school institute.

Salame Piemonte IGP: la produzione cresce del 17%

🍕 Daniele Veglio, Presidente of the Consorzio Salame Piemonte, reports a 17% increase in production, 21% in sales, and a 25% rise in pre-sliced tray-packed products over nine months. The Salame Piemonte has seen growth due to higher orders, new GDO channel clients, and smaller 80g and 60g pack sizes meeting consumer needs. The modern retail channel (GDO + Discount) dominates with 60% sales, traditional channels at 30%, and 10% from exports, with Sweden as the top importer followed by France, Germany, and Switzerland. Export shares have increased despite Japan's market loss, with Salame Piemonte IGP optimistic for continued growth and international success. ????

Penalties for non-compliance include fines ranging from €800 to €8,000 for operating without a CIN, €500 to €5,000 for failing to display the CIN, and additional fines for lacking safety requirements.

🍽 At Rome's Prati neighborhood since May 2021, Song restaurant specializes in Dim Sum, offering 55 dishes with 26 types of dumplings, including a 7-variety dumpling tasting. Chef Chu Ling San has been leading the kitchen since its opening. The menu features authentic Chinese cuisine, notably Peking Duck with over 30 hours of preparation, served without need for pre-ordering. Song's wine list has been refined to over 50 quality labels, complementing the culinary experience. Located at Via Valadier 14, Song is open daily for lunch and dinner.

Costs vary widely, with a meal ranging from €8 to €24 in Milan and €10.50 to €24 in Venice. Livorno is the cheapest city, averaging €8.67. Since September 2023, there's been a 4% increase in pizza meal costs, a 9% rise since September 2022, and a 16% escalation from September 2021. Notably, Naples saw a 32% increase in costs compared to three years ago.
