Casa&Bottega presenta i nuovi piatti con 'l'uovo al centro'

🍴 Luna Basaia and Cinzia Regano founded Casa&Bottega, a cherished spot with a focus on quality ingredients and collaborations, located in the historic heart of Rome on via dei Coronari. The venue is known for its excellent coffee, breakfasts, lunch breaks, and aperitifs, accommodating around twenty indoor seats, plus a few outside. Parisi, a supplier and consultant, enhances the menu with iconic dishes and a monthly themed dinner. Casa&Bottega's menu includes salads, soups, tartares, homemade pancakes, cheese and charcuterie boards, tapas, and signature cocktails like Spritz Lolì. Loretta Fanella's patented "Sù!" tiramisu, a unique chocolate wafer creation, is also served here. The establishment aims to expand its Sù! brand from Rome across Italy. Since 2010, Casa&Bottega has upgraded its coffee offerings to Lavazza 1985 Coffee Designers' specialty selections. Located at Via dei Coronari, 183, 00186 Rome, it operates daily from 8 AM to 9 PM, except Wednesdays, serving breakfast until noon, lunch until 5 PM, and aperitifs thereafter.

🍴 Vanda, a reference point for Roman cuisine in the heart of Trastevere, opened early 2021 and is part of the Oste per Caso group. The trattoria, 50 meters from Piazza Trilussa, has a 1,200 label wine collection, managed by head sommelier Gaetano Di Maria. The kitchen is led by Francesca Ciasullo and Alessandra Petrella. Vanda offers classic Roman dishes, daily fish or meat specials, and Saturday and Sunday breakfast. The venue seats approximately 80 inside and 30 outside.

🍷 In 2024, the Collio winemaking region in Friuli Venezia Giulia, with 1300 hectares of vineyards, deliberated modifications to the DOC regulations after producing over 7.3 million bottles in 2023. The Consortium's assembly, with 72% approval, decided to include "Orange Wines" obtained from a fermentation maceration technique of at least 7 days. A new category of white wine made from local grape varieties will be developed, and an annual event starting on October 25-26, 2025, will showcase a representative variant, with the Friulano featured first.

🍷 Located in Piazza San Carlo 9-10, Palermo, Minimarket Club, a speakeasy-style bar, recently opened, featuring a dual ambience connected by a mirrored labyrinth. Forno Santa Maria, less than a year old at Via Giovanni Meli 35, specializes in gourmet pizzas and cocktails and participated in the second Palermo Cocktail Week (November 18-24, 2024). Villa Igiea, a luxurious hotel with a history dating back to 1899 and frequented by celebrities, was acquired by Rocco Forte Hotels in 2019 and restored to its original grandeur. Sartoria, a cocktail bar located at via Discesa dei Giudici 1/A, was founded by Matteo Bonandrini, Ivan Geraci, Fabrizio Candino, and Andrea, offering tailored experiences in a former chapel and tailor's shop.

🌳 Moët & Chandon, engaged in environmental protection for over 20 years, launched the Natura Nostra sustainability program in 2021 to combat climate change and restore biodiversity in Champagne. Employees, viticultural partners, and public authorities planted a kilometer of hedges in the Côte des Blancs to connect biodiversity reservoirs and create ecological corridors. 35 km of hedges previously planted, 2,400 partners engaged, and collaboration with regional and European funding bodies for agroforestry efforts. Fipe: Vacanze di Natale decisive per recuperare le presenze turistiche

📆 In the summer of 2024, Italy saw a 1.4% decrease in tourist presence compared to the previous year, totaling around 2.9 million fewer visitors. Domestic tourism dropped by 5.5%, not reaching pre-pandemic levels with 9.3 million fewer Italian tourists (a 8.7% decrease from summer 2019). International visitors, however, increased by 8.6 million (8.8% up from 2019), accounting for 52.3% of the total presence, surpassing Italian tourists (47.7%) for the first time. The Istat data for Q3 2024 shows 97.8 million Italian and 107.1 million foreign presences, summing up to 204.9 million. Projections indicate a potential annual positive performance depending on the Christmas holiday turnout. ????

🍰 High-end patisserie is redefining accessibility, reaching supermarkets, shopping centers, airports, and train stations. Prominent pastry chefs like Iginio Massari, the Cerea brothers, and Sal De Riso have partnered with large retailers to expand their audience. Iginio Massari's BuoniMaestri project with Iper La grande i resulted in a €20 million turnover with double-digit annual growth. Elisenda, by the Cerea family and Esselunga, is present in 172 stores and has increased sales significantly, producing about 50 recipes daily with 145 staff at Pioltello. In Italy, luxury pastry accounts for 40% of out-of-home consumption in the main European markets, worth €11.4 billion.
