Marco Bettini gelatiere di Livorno vince il Trofeo PuntoIT

🍦 Marco Bettini from Gelateria La Veneta Castiglioncello in Livorno won the "Trofeo PuntoIT" ice cream contest, focusing on "Le Creme Tradizionali alla base dei prodotti Tipici Pugliesi". The first two qualify for the Coppa Italia di Gelateria 2025 in Rome this November, with the winner advancing to SIGEP 2026 in Rimini. 🎂 On March 17, celebrating the World Pie Day, TheFork reveals 89% of Italians have a favorite dessert when dining out, with tiramisù topping the list especially among 25-34 year-olds, followed by cheesecake and chocolate-based desserts. A YouGov survey found 96% order sweets at least occasionally, 15% always treat themselves to a dessert, and another 15% rarely do, with the latter more common among 45-54 year-olds. For over 40%, desserts are a personal indulgence, while health reasons motivate less than 10%. TheFork identified 12 Italian restaurants with the best tiramisù, including Misù Gourmet in Pisa and Mr. 100 Tiramisù in Rome.

Initial, a global leader in hygiene services, conducted a study via mUp Research to assess awareness among managers and companies, leading to the launch of the LFree service for Legionella risk management and an informative campaign. The D.Lgs. 18/2023 mandates stringent water quality controls, recognizing Legionella as a priority in safety plans. However, only 36% of Italian managers are aware of these intensified procedures. The research also revealed that 76.1% would welcome external consultants' expertise on this issue. Rentokil Initial, with over 57,000 employees in 90 countries, offers the LFree service, combining technical advice, analysis, sanitation, and training, furthering its commitment to workplace health and safety standards.

Filippo Sisti protagonista della Guest Night finale da Azotea

Ferrarelle e FAI insieme per le Giornate FAI di Primavera 2025

🏫 Ferrarelle Società Benefit, the fourth-largest mineral water company in Italy, continues its partnership as the official water of the FAI Spring Days event, which will be held on March 22-23, 2025, offering access to over 750 extraordinary sites in more than 400 Italian cities. The collaboration, which began in 2006, includes support for the FAI and the sustainable management of the Parco Sorgenti di Riardo, an approximately 150-hectare naturalistic area. Amedei, owned by Ferrarelle since 2027, will open its chocolate factory to visitors during the event. Ferrarelle has been in international distribution to countries including the USA, Canada, and the UAE. It also owns a high-end chocolate production company, Amedei, and runs an organic farm, Masseria delle Sorgenti.

Coca&Cola con Special Olympics per i Giochi Mondiali Invernali di Torino 2025

💪 Coca-Cola partners with Special Olympics for the 2025 Winter World Games starting March 8 in Turin, Sestriere, Bardonecchia, and Pragelato. Over 1,500 athletes from 100 countries will compete in eight sports, with the support of 3,000 volunteers, in front of 300,000 spectators. Coca-Cola, a founding sponsor since 1968, extended its global partnership with Special Olympics until 2031. The Torcia dei Giochi Mondiali Invernali 2025 torch was ignited on February 25 in Athens, symbolizing hope and inclusion. Coca-Cola's Gaglianico (BI) site, a European technological leader in rPET production, celebrated the athletes and volunteers. Coca-Cola volunteers will assist athletes at the PalaTazzoli in Turin and skiing events in Sestriere. The company also launched the "Your Support is Real Magic™" campaign, featuring athletes Gaia Pezzolato and Luca De Pieri. Coca-Cola Company, operating since 1927 in Italy, employs over 2,000 people across seven sites.

Puntarella: un angolo di tranquillità nel cuore di Trastevere

🍕 Puntarella, a restaurant located in the less chaotic area of Trastevere, Rome, near Piazza di Santa Maria, was opened in April 2024 by Oste per Caso, known for La Buvette and Dillà. Chef Giorgio Vitali and Alessandra Petrella, with over 20 years of experience, lead a kitchen that serves from 12 to 23 without breaks. The menu, which changes monthly, includes seafood, Roman classics, meat, vegetarian, and vegan dishes.
