March 2025 whole German spot milk prices were 23% higher than in March 2024. Butter prices increased by 4% in Kempten; SMP decreased by 1%. Sugar prices on The ICE since early March 2025 increased by 4.8% for raw and 2.5% for white sugar. Brazil's 2024/25 sugar production as of March 16 was 40 million tonnes, down 5.3%, and India's production by March 15 reached 23.7 million tonnes, a 16% decrease.

🍴 Pichaya 'Pam' Soontornyanakij, a chef from Bangkok, became the first Asian woman to win The World's Best Female Chef award. Chef Pam was previously named Asia's Best Female Chef 2024. Her restaurant Potong, opened in 2021, is at No.13 in Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2025, up from No.35, and No.57 in The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2024. She owns The X Project, The Table, Smoked, and ten other venues in Bangkok. Chef Pam also judges on Top Chef Thailand and founded the WFW Scholarship and Internship Program. The World's Best Female Chef 2025 is part of The World's 50 Best Restaurants awards, to be held on June 19, 2025, in Turin.
