🏖️ In Italy, overnight stays from June to August decreased by 0.7%, with a drop of 1.4 million presences compared to last year. Italian demand fell by 2.9%, with coastal locations seeing a 4.1% decrease. The summer quarter saw 105.4 million Italian overnights, down from 108.6 million in 2023. The average stay dipped to 3.9 nights from 4.0 in 2023. International demand is up by 1.6%, with 105.1 million overnights projected, up from 103.4 million in 2023. September is expected to bring 15 million tourists and 50.2 million overnights, a 0.6% increase from September 2023. Cities of art could see a 2.4% rise; rural and hillside areas a 2.1% increase.
