🍅 Euroservice Catering, led by Francesco and Raffaele Savarise, won two "Top Italian Food" 2026 awards in Rome for their "L'Oro del Vesuvio" peeled tomato and yellow tomato purée from Monte Somma. The peeled tomato won for the third consecutive year, while the purée secured its second consecutive recognition. Products are hand-harvested in August in South Italy, using traditional methods. The company, founded in 1997, also promotes quality through the "Eccellenza Nella Pizza" association.

🍝 Chef Antonello Sardi presents a festive dish at Serrae Villa Fiesole (1 Michelin star) in the FH55 Hotel Villa Fiesole. The dish features Spaghetti Gentile di Gragnano, 300g calamaretti spillo, 100g sea lettuce, 200g cannellini beans, and 2 marinated broccoli. It includes Parmigiano Reggiano aged 24 months and extra virgin olive oil. Spaghetti is cooked 3 minutes short of full time, then sautéed with ingredients for a balanced flavor profile that highlights land and sea contrasts.

🛳 Msc Crociere, led by VP Leonardo Massa, marked 2025 as pivotal in Italy with stable offerings and improved profitability despite fragmented demand. 2026 will see controlled growth with Msc World America and Msc World Asia expanding operations. New offerings include Alaska cruises from May 2026 with Msc Poesia and year-round Dominican Republic positioning from winter 2026-27. The Mediterranean, Canary Islands, Emirates, and the U.S. markets remain central, with expansion plans for new World and Frontier class ships.

🗺 Alla presentazione del Piano Strategico 2025-2029 di FS, Stefano Donnarumma ha delineato i piani del Gruppo FS, suddiviso in cinque Business Unit. FS è il principale consumatore elettrico italiano, coprendo il 2% del fabbisogno nazionale e ha lanciato una gara PPA da 275 GWh, risparmiando il 25%. FS mira a generare 400 GWh tramite fotovoltaico. L'investimento tecnologico è di 20 miliardi di euro, con un pilota di connettività a bordo su 60 km a 300 km/h.

🛫 Roma Fiumicino Airport achieved a historic milestone in 2025, surpassing 50 million passengers annually. Over the Christmas period, from December 22 to January 7, an additional 2 million travelers are expected, with 180,000 at Ciampino. Passenger numbers rose by over 4% compared to the previous year. Long-haul growth was driven by North America, with 4.7 million passengers, and a 16% increase in Asian trips, notably to Korea, Japan, and Bangladesh, supported by Cathay Pacific's Hong Kong flights.

🌎 WTTC moves its main office to Madrid, Spain, due to its competitive business environment, lower operating costs, favorable tax context, and government support. Previously located in the UK, challenges like Brexit affected talent mobility. Five locations were considered: Dubai, France, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland. Madrid was chosen for its international connectivity and alignment with WTTC's mission. President Manfredi Lefebvre aims for enhanced global talent access and government-backed tourism sector advancements by 2026.
