Italian Golden Age, il progetto per attrarre pensionati stranieri
🏢 Italian retirees increasingly move abroad for climate and tax benefits. Since 2024, as Portugal changes regulations, Spain and Tunisia gain popularity, with 536 and 4,000 Italian retirees, respectively. Italy now attracts European retirees with a 7% tax offer for foreigners in towns under 20,000 residents in the South. Federterme plans to expand the program to towns up to 60,000 residents. They aim to convert unused hotels into compounds for long-term foreign retiree rentals.
