Bagagli a mano, presto lo stop ai limiti per i liquidi
🛂 Italian airports could soon allow larger liquid containers in carry-on bags by late July or early August. The European Civil Aviation Conference (Ecac) plans to approve an updated algorithm for Smiths Detection's Hi-Scan 6040CTiX scanners. The software instantly detects explosives and provides high-resolution 3D images, eliminating the need to remove electronics. Installed in Milan Malpensa and Linate, Rome Fiumicino, Bergamo, Catania, Bologna, and Turin airports, these machines could permit liquids beyond the current 100 ml limit.
